I hate leaving this review but I’m just so irritated. We love the food here but we have constant issues with their order and delivery.

It’s all little but CONSISTENT issues. Just extremely disappointed.

First time - ordered chicken salad with fried chicken cutlet. I got grilled chicken. Okay no problem. I’m not that upset. It is what it is.

Second time - I ordered a pacific beach acai bowl and paid extra for the Nutella. Charged me but didn’t get the Nutella. Frustrated but didn’t ask for a refund just blew it off.

Third time - ordered a few things for my family, a chicken ceaser with fried chicken cutlet for myself. Food comes, chicken ceaser has NO chicken on it at all. I immediately call to ask if they can fix this. All I wanted was the chicken. They said the kitchen was now closed and “thankfully they didn’t charge me for the chicken”. I said “okay.. guess I’ll have this plain salad for dinner but you did charge me for the 3 sides of sauce we ordered but only sent one.” She then said she’d refund me for the two sides .. but that refund never came.

DO BETTER PLEASE.

Not so great of an experience. No organization at this location, waited 10-15 minutes for a bagel with cream cheese because the employee at front desk was doing whatever they wanted to. Bagel wasn't toasted as requested and felt left out at this location.

I was visiting friends in NY, and on the day of my return to FL, my girlfriend took me to Panino Rustico, where I met JACK, he was excellent and authentic New Yorker, with accent and all (adorable).. The menu choices are excellent, we had truffle fries, I had the P48 Panini (steak, mozzarella with peppers & onions) and to cap off as a desert, I had the Iced Nutella Latte... All were excellent. I love a Hot Panini and it was perfect, flavors were cheesy perfect. Even the ambiance was charming and the Service was impeccable. I truly cannot say enough. So when you go, say HI to Jack!! The address is 161-16 Cross Bay Blvd., Howard Beach, NY 11414

I recently ordered three pastrami sandwiches for dinner on a Friday night, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The quality of the meat was disappointing; it was tough and did not meet my expectations for what a good pastrami sandwich should be. More concerningly, consuming these sandwiches resulted in a severe adverse reaction. I experienced significant gastrointestinal distress for two days, which suggests the possibility of food spoilage or cross-contamination issues. Following this incident, I reached out to the establishment to express my concerns and was met with an apology. However, given the severity of my experience, I feel it is necessary to advise potential customers to consider alternative dining options. Food safety and quality are paramount, and my experience raises concerns about both at this establishment."

If you have any food allergies do not go to this baya bar, everything is cross contaminated. I got an acai bowl with no nuts and found a whole walnut in it, then after contacting the store they gave me a new bowl to which I had an even worse allergic reaction to. The workers claimed that there are nuts in their granola, but I have never had this issue at any other baya bar location. Even if there was WHOLE walnuts in their granola, no where is it listed in the store or on the menu that people with nut allergies should get the hemp granola as an alternative.

So excited to be the first review! AMAZING food and service! Dined in. Tried the grilled eggplant panini, the tomato mozzarella and pesto crepe, truffle fries, and a banana Nutella crepe for desert, plus a coffee. Portions are very generous! Everything was so fresh and hot. You can have table service inside or take out to go. Service is quick and friendly. So many vegetarian options! Atmosphere is beautiful; everything is clean, fresh and bright. What an incredible addition to 129th St! WELCOME! Will definitely be back!

Couldn’t decide on 1 panini - thankfully I was with a party of 4 and sharing was perfect - the pastrami is my favorite… so far. And the fries. The staff is friendly and, SURPRISE!! Cocktails too? Definitely going back.
