However, had a pretty bad experience where the person behind the counter was coughing all over everything. Coughing into their gloved hands, then touching the cakes, coughing some more, and on and on. Surprisingly unprofessional and unhygienic, super disappointing.

The pastries here are so pretty and delicious to look at, so far the ones I’ve tried were absolutely delicious! I definitely want to come back and try more desserts. It’s nice and quiet. This place definitely makes a nice cute little date spot.

Noticed a fly on one of the pastries and brought it to attention. Initially told it was a raisin, but upon pointing out that it was moving, no action was taken to remove it. Waited to see if it would be addressed, but nothing was done. Raises concerns about hygiene and food safety.

Looking for macarons and other fresh items... Go elsewhere...expensive packaged set with terrible flavor options, stale and crunchy shell, hard filling. Not the warmest environment and everything appeared to look bland and made elsewhere.

Today, I needed to recharge and find a place where I could have breakfast and try some new food. I discovered this cute little spot called Paris Bakery, and the experience was fantastic. I’ve been to Paris many times, and it reminded me of Paris a bit.
If you like to eat healthily like myself, avoiding too much sugar in your coffee and too much sodium in your food, then this is the place for you. I had a cheese omelette, which was soft, and to drink, I had an iced matcha with almond milk. The staff was very friendly, and the place was clean.

The best place to have breakfast! This spot is absolutely amazing for breakfast — highly recommended. And Mohamed, who works there, is just incredible! His service, warmth, and attention to detail make the whole experience even better.
The treats here are phenomenal and the people are so kind and were just really good people. If your in Astoria, definitely stop here for a sweet snack!

Superb local spot. I got a chai here and it was very smooth and delicious, not too sweet.
The atmosphere here was lovely, you have neighbors chatting and laughing, people studying, people reading. Whether alone or in groups you’ll feel comfortable here.
The cashier was so so nice. My phone was dead and I asked if they had a charger. He spent a good amount of time ensuring he got the right charger and making sure it works. I told him I’ll get a chai for helping me out but he said it wasn’t necessary (i got one anyways).
Highly recommend this place. They also have delicious looking savory and sweet pastries, and many beautiful handcrafted desserts. Don’t miss out!

Everything looked so delicious so personally had difficultly deciding. We ended up getting one of the rolls, which the guy behind the counter told us was the way to go. It was like a croissant-texture roll dipped in hard chocolate with a Nutella center. The bites without the Nutella weren't great and I do feel like the croissant had been sitting out all day and a bit less on the flakiness than I would have wanted. But once you get to the center it's worth it. Service was so pleasant and seemingly excited about his job, which was a plus.
