This used to be one of my favorite places, especially because of the excellent service from a Mexican girl who was always very kind and professional. Unfortunately, the experience has changed a lot with the new staff.
On our last visit, we had an issue with a dish that was not edible. Instead of offering a proper solution, the server simply said, “If you want, I can pack it to go.” That made no sense at all, considering the food could not even be eaten. When I said I didn’t want it, she still tried to charge me, and only stopped when I asked to speak with a manager.
To make it worse, when I requested the manager, I was told they were “too busy” to come out. I find it unbelievable that in a restaurant, there is no responsible person available to resolve a customer’s issue. Only after seeing that I was upset did they offer not to charge for it or change the dish — something that should have been done from the beginning without having to escalate the situation.
Because of this, my boyfriend and I have decided not to return. They do not value their customers nor understand how to handle basic customer service. It’s a shame, because we truly used to love coming here.
