I happened upon this restaurant while visiting from Delaware. I ordered the oxtails and jerk chicken and both dishes was a 5/5. This for sure, will be my go to restaurant for Island foodwhen I visit the NYC area.

Ordered a Large meal. Jerk chicken with rice & peas, and Rasta pasta. Jerk chicken was 90% bone & 10% meat. Now I’m not a jerk chicken expert but it does not take one to know that this is not how it should taste. Rice & peas tasted undercooked. Rasta Pasta is an add-on that costs $4 & oh boy was this a terrible mistake. Tasted like left overs and was not creamy at all. It was literally a thick cheese paste with no flavor other than cheese. Only thing I would say is that the portions are big but even then I just didn’t want to finish the rest. Would I come here again? Not at all.

Food taste delicious! It’ll take a little while to get your food but it’s totally worth the wait. Love the juices they have as well. Highly recommend ??
The jerk is pre boiled then jerk. You could taste the gas that was poured on charcoal before grilling jerk chicken . Definitely nothing authentic about this spot. So disappointed bc I really wanted to like this spot. SMH
There is nothing here that taste J**** I was deeply disappointed. This tasted like plain baked chicken. The only thing J*** was the idea of you thinking you were purchasing a J*** dinner/ J*** ?.

The food is here is so good! Oxtails 10/10, j*** shrimp 10/10, curry chicken 10/10, stew chicken 10/10. The inside is quiet and the food takes time because everything is made to order. The staff are pleasant and do what they need to do. Don’t believe the negative reviews. If you’ve ever been to a Jamaican restaurant, you know what it is. The food always hits. Very happy to have this spot in Queens!

Portions is not enough for the price of food. How is 3 little piece of chicken 12 dollars? Theres was a small meal deal on the wall i noticed after paying a big amount the cashier didnt even advise me about and i couldve paid less for that meal only bought 2 things and grand total was 46$
