I made a reservation on Open Table, showed up, and they were closed. That is undependable and unprofessional and I don't plan on coming again.
Great environment, friendly staff& delicious. Do not miss the occasion to taste this food. Original& best!!!??????
Just had dinner here, and I’m so glad I did! They had a buffet set up, which was tempting, though we ordered from the menu this time!Tenzin was more than hospitable and really hooked us up with some insanely good recommendations. We had the vegetable momos, vegetable pakoras, alu-dum, and vegetable chowmein. When all was said and done, I really loved the food here, you can readily tell that it’s of a high calibre. I would come back anytime, and would recommend it to anyone looking for some delicious Tibetan food and more.
Love the place but food not so much, server was really friendly and nice to everyone. I came to this place after my friend recommended me to check it out but I'm not satisfied with the food comparing it to other restaurants.I wish to see the improvement on food quality as I love the place
Really fantastic dinner buffet. Enjoyed it immensely! Also ordered a bunch of frozen momo to pick up later.
Amazing! Same owner (and chef) of the famed Gangjong Kitchen formerly @ Jackson Heights, and of the best Tibetan experiences in the Tri-Area
Excellent, courteous customer service. The man at the counter was politely informative: I learned how to pronounce "tsampa" correctly. He made good recommendations; the beef momos and the meatballs were delicious. I hope to come back with my family to eat in the patio!
We ordered takeout yesterday. The person at the counter was so kind and service oriented. The food was good too. Highly recommend.
I had a great time with some friends here in this quaint family friendly space. Chef Tenzing goes above and beyond to make you feel at home and bring the best of his culinary touch. The soft Tingmo (Tibetan rice bun) with beef stir fry was such an excellent combination. The flavor profiles had just the right amount of sourness and spice. The veggie momos were delicious too.
Friendly server, and excellent service. I really liked Chilli chicken, beef patties, Alu dum.

Punda Tibetan's food is delicious! Their dishes are flavorful - some are spicy, and some you can ask for mild, if you want. Their Alu Gobi (potatoes and cauliflower) are so tasty, and so is their mapu tofu (some tofu croquette appetizer). Lastly, the people here are extremely nice - on the night we moved into the neighborhood it started raining, and they lent us an umbrella!
Ate here several times! very authentic tibetan restaurant that reminds me of my mom’s cooking❤️❤️❤️I love the momo with lots of juices in it~ as well as aloo hobo, soft delicious tingmo❤️, and shabtak!
Good food, reasonable prices, good service, they do catering too which was convenient for us when we did that. They came with hot food and delivered to our house and set it up on the table ready to be served.
Food and Service was very good.
Always the best!! Love their ayurvedic healthy mouth drooling food!
