Friendly staff. Buffet or food to order. Lots of options. Mexican coke.
I ordered on grub hub. The rice was supposed to be white nothing like pictured. I wouldn’t give this to a dog. Beans, rice, chicken, and maduro all tightly smushed in one plate I told grub hub that the restaurant could come pick up their food and asked for a full refund.
I ordered on door dash and I can honestly say the food was good and fresh. I ordered a chicharron monfongo and a tres golpe with a beef pastelito and a papa rellena. I honestly do not understand the bad reviews. The prices are very reasonable too. Worth giving them a try.
I’m so mad right now. I just paid $12 for pancakes and bacon and something was spoiled. I’m never going back.
Awful place they dont know how to make mofongo and will give you no sauce with it and they gave me an expired tres leches cake from almost a whole week of being a expired
Pretty upset with my lunch today. Ordered chicharron and the skin is completely covered in hair. What's the point of getting chicharron if you can't eat the skin? A quick once over with a knife during preparation would have solved this problem. Usually, it's very good but I don't know what happened today. Feels like a waste of my money
****UPDATE 2/11/25 ... Definitely DONE with this restaurant. Got a small order of chicharron with white rice for $7 last week. Came in today for a small order with no rice and they charged me $11!!! The lady who charged me had the nerve to tell me my order was a medium. How is that even possible when I got the smallest container they have and a lunch special costs about that price!! See the picture!! When I questioned the price she told me she raised the prices ....
Yea ok. I hope the OWNER sees this because I frequent this place often but not anymore. Go to the Colombian Restaurant across the street, at least they are consistent with their prices.
The food is very salty it’s insane you paying money and the food is so salty like you about to have blood pressure!!!
Cool atmosphere with great music playing, but that's about it. The empanada was basic and somehow cost nearly $4. I really wanted to love this local spot, but things went from mediocre to dangerous when their kale-avocado smoothie had me praying to the porcelain gods and eventually landed me in the ER with severe dehydration. While the vibe makes it tempting, I suggesting avoiding their 'fresh' ingredient smoothies until they get their food handling sorted out. Not worth the risk.
1.5/5 stars
Good breakfast!! Well priced and healthy!
How can you make pollo guisado dry and without flavor!? Plate served without the salsa from the pollo guisado. Rice was overcooked/ dry. Maybe it was just a bad day, but damn. Very disappointed. Worst Dominican food I've had.
