Black sesame and red bean buns are absolutely divine. I make a trip to flushing for Rainbow Bakery every single time I come to NYC. It’s worth the trip every time. Delicious! I also tried their ham and cheese sandwich this time, and it reminded me of the 7/11 convenience store sandwiches in Japan but fresher. Always impressed by this bakery!
Been there a couple times. I really enjoy the cranberry bagel with cream cheese, Tuna and taro buns. Also love how reasonably priced it is, even cheaper than Fay Da bakery, my other fav bakery I usually go to. I will be going more often.
We enjoyed all the pastries we got and the chinese steam buns. However, the attitude from one of the woman working there is unacceptable. I had my kids with me and they were excited to shop while supervised. The woman asked my son to give her the tongs back and she took the tray and went behind the counter. Granted maybe she wanted to close soon or maybe we were almost done shopping.
