The food here is really good. Try the fish sandwich, ham n cheese, and the hawaiian pizza. The service is alright! The ambiance is really good. It has a cute vibe to it. Btw the prices are really good (cheap).

Best mochi coffee donut I've ever had, I'm so happy I went, now I dream about it daily. I did take 4 to go, gave me neighbor one donut then ate 3 on my own the next day. To be honest they tasted better the following day when eaten first thing in the morning with tea. If this place was next to my house I'd be there every morning!

They got the best pastries here and there’s always a variety of items. The staff are nice and there’s a bit of seating at the back as well.

Came here as I was craving a mochi donut. They had a grand opening special, buy 2, get the 3rd free. I had tried the strawberry x2 and mango. They were good but I still find mochi mochi to be better. They seemed to have some nice pastries and cakes as well. Cozy place, has a few tables in the back to sit as well. If you're paying, make sure your bills are perfectly fine or else they won't take it. My $5 has a tiny rip to it and the cashier insisted that they cannot take it. It's money still right? That's why I took off the 1 star.

This is the third rainbow bakery in Elmhurst area. Really spacious and clean with seatings. Only thing I notice is that they charge more for the buns in this bakery than the other rainbow bakeries in the area.

The food tastes okay. But the service was awful. There’s 2 pieces of strawberries croissant on the plate. I ask the lady to get the first piece because of perfect shape and color more than 3 times. I told her the reason why I requested that .The lady was ignoring my request.she shakes her shoulder. It seems like she doesn’t care about that.I don’t know why this lady had bad mood. I don't think my request is excessive.I would not come back to this location without respect to customers. There are many bakery stores nearby.

This Rainbow bakery location distinguishes itself from others around the area by offering more modern cake designs and mochi donuts. There are some standard Chinese bakery breads here, but the selection is limited as the focus is more on the sweets here (cake, donuts, swiss rolls, cream puffs, etc.). Food: The mochi donuts have a lightly fried exterior and chewy middle and are pretty good! I love that the flavors aren't overly sweet. So far, I've tried the fruity pebbles, churro, mango, biscotti/coffee, strawberry, and matcha flavors. They were all fresh and tasty. I am amazed at how well they replicated the strawberry Pocky flavor. It tastes exactly like the strawberry Pocky stick! Certain mochi donut flavors sell out quick and I kind of wish there was a way to reserve them in advance. There could be two people taking orders at once and the last donut of a certain flavor could be snatched up by the person behind you because they called it before you did or if their person worked quicker than the one taking your order. It was also unclear if you should order the donuts at the cash register or if you should just call out to a person behind the display counter (I've seen both happen). They have HK milk tea here and it's well made. Their cake slices are pretty good too. Definitely try a few! Ambiance: The bakery is brightly lit and clean. There is a small seating area at the back of the store if you wish to eat in. Location: So glad they opened a location at this spot. It is very convenient to get to as it is steps away from the Grand Ave. subway station and Q58/59 bus stops). Overall: Great bakery to go to if you are looking for some slightly sweet desserts or want to pick up a cake for your next gathering! :)

Amazing mochi donuts. I thoroughly enjoyed the s’mores donut. Since they just opened, they have a buy 2 get 1 for free offer. Highly recommend!

This bakeshop bowled me over with its variety of traditional Chinese favorites; sponge cakes, buns, egg tarts, coconut cream buns, etc and higher end items; cakes and several cream puff varieties. Their prices are more reasonable than the nearby competition and no minimum on credit cards along with helpful customer service. Their crispy puff was stuffed with cream and knocked my proverbial socks off and I don’t even wear proverbial socks.
