Nice cozy quiet little spot tucked away. You could almost miss this gem... The food took a little long to come out due to a printer malfunction but the staff made up for it with an apology and guacomole and chips on the house. The food was so delicious. I would change absolutely nothing about it. Fresh and tasty... I'd go back anytime I'm in the area.

It's a vibe! It's really a vibe! The ambience the food, the drinks, the music, the owner the staff are very friendly. You always have great conversation laughter you get to let your hair down after a hard day of work. I truly recommend trying this place out. You will not be disappointed. Btw I love the shrimp rolls, and the wings are my favorite.

Great ambience here! I always love a good tiki bar and this place being brand new is way cleaner than any of the others I've visited! The bartender, Susie, took great care of me and my cousin when we stopped in after work. The place is not that big but it's a good enough size to have a private conversation with your cousin at one of the tables while two groups of men have their own conversing in the bar. There was atv going but we could barely hear it. We both ordered poke bowls. I got the tuna and my cousin got the chicken. I've honestly never heard of chicken poke, I'm pretty sure that poke is only fish but it's a nice creation for the area. I doubt many would eat raw fish. Certainly my cousin wouldn't. The portions were enormous, neither of us finished our bowls but my cousin had enough to save for her lunch the next day. We both LOVED our food and our skinny margaritas. We'll definitely be back to try more food.

Sweet little spot to chill with friends and order a few fiery drinks/other unique menu items. Friendly staff. Not the best location, though.

A Tiki Adventure at Rockaway - Where Shrimp Spring Rolls Reign Supreme! First off, let's talk about the stars of the show - the shrimp spring rolls. Imagine this: crispy, golden wrappers hugging the juiciest shrimp you've ever tasted, accompanied by a dipping sauce that's the culinary equivalent of a high-five. It's like they've managed to roll up the essence of summer and serve it on a plate. Pure magic! Moving on to the chicken sliders - these little guys are the Clark Kent of sliders: unassuming at first, but with a superpower of flavor! Each bite is a perfect harmony of tender chicken, tangy sauce, and soft buns that practically melt in your mouth. They're like tiny, delicious pillows of joy that make you want to write poetry. Now, let's address the tofu poke bowl. Oh, the tofu poke bowl... It tried, it really did. But alas, amidst the flavor fiesta happening around it, this dish was like the quiet kid at a rock concert. Not bad, just... there. It's the kind of dish you eat when you want to feel good about your life choices, but not necessarily when you want to thrill your taste buds. And the atmosphere? Imagine a tropical storm of sound, colors, and energy. The place is LOUD, friends. It's like a mix between a beach party and a New Year's Eve bash. Not the spot for deep heart-to-hearts, unless you're okay with shouting sweet nothings over the din. In conclusion, Rockaway Tiki Bar is a rollercoaster of tastes and sounds. It's chaotic, it's loud, but it's also ridiculously fun. Go for the shrimp spring rolls, stay for the chicken sliders, and maybe just give a polite nod to the tofu poke bowl. You'll leave with your ears ringing, your stomach full, and a big, goofy smile on your face. Four stars for making me feel like I've been to a party without the hassle of actually planning one!

Great place for Kareoke... had a blast. The only downside was the kitchen was already closed by 8pm. Had to get food from another restaurant.

Decent vegan options here!We visited and got two kinds of Bao buns - a mushroom one & the marinated tofu one (the mushroom was better than the tofu)We also got the tofu poke bowl which was delicious! Lots of toppings and lots of flavor.None of the sliders could be made vegan bc of the Hawaiian rolls and the dumplings also couldn’t be made vegan, but there were some other vegan appetizers - the corn nuggets for sure.Service was great - the waitress was vegetarian and allergic to eggs (if I remember correctly) so she was knowledgeable and very helpful!Overall, I wish they would put in a little more effort to make things more vegan adaptable.Dietary restrictions: Vegan options
