Unfortunately, we went on a night when the restaurant had two large groups, a bachelorette party of about 20, and a family of 30+. Despite that, the service was attentive and timely, despite the staff being harried. Too bad the food was extremely mediocre. My short ribs were so tough, I had to saw it apart with my knife. Ruta Oaxaca has the most Delicious Food you will ever find. To start, the Salsa and Chips are uniquely in a class of their own. The appetizers, including the Empanadas, are expertly prepared, followed by the main courses, including the seafood, beef, and chorizos, which are always Extremely Delicious as well.
