Best meatball parm hero in the neighborhood! I tried it for the first time yesterday and was surprised how good it was. The bread wasn’t too dense, soft inside, crispy outside, meatballs and sauce were flavorful and you can’t beat the price. ?

I’ve been coming to this pizza spot since I was a kid and we still come here decades later . It feels like home away from home with familiar faces. They treat you like family. The pizza still taste the same unlike other spots in the area that have altered their recipe. Each slice has the right amount of sauce, cheese and crust to make it just perfect. My family and friends grab a slice or two or even a pie once maybe twice a week. This place went down the drain. Been coming here for over 30 yrs and boy has it changed. No sauce, the cheese is terrible and the seasoning is nonexistent .Never again. Rizzo's here I come!

I can’t believe I’m late to reviewing this place. Astoria staple in my opinion. Definition of modest mom & pop shop. A nice crispy slice. Great cheese/sauce ratio. It’ll run u $3 but it’s worth it.

Samaria Pizza reminds me of pizza I had growing up in East Harlem. We lived in a predominantly Sicilian neighborhood and when I visited for the first time it felt like a blast from the past. The owner is such a lovely lady who greets you by calling you "friend" and is so sweet. The entire vibe in there is relaxing and inviting. Best mushroom pizza I've tasted in decades. They also have many other delicious items on their menu. Best place for the entire family. I recommend this spot.Vegetarian options: Mushrooms, and peppersParking: There is parking right in front of the restaurant and all over the large parking lot.Kid-friendliness: There is plenty seating available for the entire family.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily could roll a wheelchair right inside and up to a table to dine in.

Great pizza, great prices, and a wonderful staff. They had a welcoming atmosphere which my partner and I loved. We ordered a half pepperoni and cheese pie to go which was perfectly made. Not too greasy and the slices weren't too floppy. So glad that we live right across from them! We will be sure to stop by more often. If you are in the area and want to give them a shot, please stop by!
Cheese & Sicilian Pizza. BLAND. Both Slices were unfortunately lacking in the flavor profile.The Sicilian Slice was not only a small cut but was also thin in width for such a Pizza. Really wanted to like SAMARIA after hearing good things about the Pizzeria. Those people were wrong. This is a NOT SO GOOD Pizzeria located in the same Strip Mall as the BEL AIRE DINER. The GREEK owned SAMARIA PIZZA is named after a famous Gorge located in a National Park on the island of CRETE in GREECE which is part of the CHANIA Prefecture. Sadly the Slices at SAMARIA PIZZA are not monumental. I must note that the female owner was very nice and provided GREAT Customer Service. AVOID.

Born and raised here, moved away to Midwest. In town for a quick visit, stopped in for a slice.... Best I've had in 20 years. The real deal. I had wondered sometimes if I was misremembering how much better pizza is here. I was not. Heaven on a paper plate for 3 bucks.
