Watch out for the extra add on. All Prices charged on the bill are higher than prices stated on menu. Water carafe was dirty & greasy. Service charges added for bigger group. Some Items were charged twice. Be careful. WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT.

Tried some indian food with my family at NY .First time at Sandoor and now it may be my go to. Definitely a fine dining establishment that lives up to its customer service and food quality. The service, and the food was amazing and so considerate . We tried the Sunday brunch buffet was phenomenal and extremely delicious. So many great choices, i personally like the grilled chicken kobabas are extremely juicy and tender. My 4 year old daughter really likes those because it’s not that spicy at all.
The brunch buffet is reasonably priced and worth it so I will definitely be back. I consider Sindoor my hidden gem in NY and I can’t wait to share with more people.

We came here for lunch after not having been for a while. It is under new management. The buffet lunch was superb and very reasonable. Lots of good choices. Many people there for a weekday lunch and no wonder. Lovely atmosphere. There is plenty of parking since it is located in a shopping center. We will definitely look to return soon.

My friend and I discovered this restaurant by chance, and we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was. Since chicken is my favorite protein, we couldn't resist ordering a variety of chicken dishes: chicken tikka masala, chicken curry, and butter chicken, paired with a side of garlic naan. The butter chicken was the standout for me--rich, creamy, and perfectly sweet. The chicken tikka masala was also good, though I would've loved a bit more spice. Unfortunately, the chicken curry fell short, lacking in flavor. Overall, though, I'd recommend giving this restaurant a try.

Very disappointing meal. I used to go there before the pandemic. It was much better then. I believe it's under new ownership and new menu that's missing some familiar, delicious South Asian dishes. Good news is the portions are still big. I got a take out order for myself.
I ordered goat saag. Little meat. The spinach could have been baby food. This was the most bland Indian dish I ever had by far. The roti was huge. Enough for several. They only had vegetable samosas. It was different than I've had before in a bad way. They gave me four small samosas instead of the usual two large ones. The samosas were doughy. The filling was all mashed. I could not taste the potato and peas. Also very bland.
The biggest miss was the rice. They did not serve basmati rice. It looked like Uncle Ben's brand. Tasteless.
Nice place, clean. I will never go back

This was my go-to place for lunch buffet…it was always amazing and inexpensive…pre-pandemic…but we all know about the cost of things now, but does quality and choice have to suffer??? Apparently at santoor now, they really don’t exist!!! I’m used to a buffet with many delicious choices…saag paneer is a STAPLE along with aloo gobi and more…so I went there recently for their $16 buffet (actually reasonable by todays standards) and it was a carnivores delight with very few vegetable choices!! The tandoor chicken and other chicken dish (there was goat too but not a fan!!) were fine as was the naan…but that was really it…there was a salad (boring), dal, and some weird veggie dish made of something that tasted a little like cabbage but not completely…and that was about it!! I don’t recall an appetizer (unless it was so boring I just forgot!)…and when I asked about other vegetables, I was told I could just BUY them as a supplement…which I did NOT do!!! I remember santoor always being busy for lunch…it was pretty empty when we went and I can’t see many people running here, and sadly, all my happy memories of santoor are in the past and I will never return unless I hear they’ve gone back to their original amazing buffet…charge $2 more if you must, but what you have now is sad and depressing!!!
