This place was such an amazing experience. It has a chill and intimate ambiance and the food my fiancé and I had was delicious. We did the pizza making course and met Justin, the owner, who was very welcoming and kind. He was very informative and demonstrated how to make a tasty brick oven pizza. Him and his wait staff were very polite and attentive. I will be coming back again soon.

We celebrated my 2-year-old's birthday here, and I can't say enough about the experience. From planning to finish, the hospitality was truly top notch. Joel, Justin and the whole staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. I hadn't even thought about lighting and what to put on the screens but they were able to customize the space to my theme. They made us feel so welcomed, it made such a difference on a special day. The restaurant was also conveniently located for my NY/NJ guests and had lots of parking. The food, of course, was excellent. Everyone raved about the pizza and especially the truffle honey whipped ricotta but what stood out most was the warmth we felt throughout the entire party. It's rare to find a place where both kids and adults feel equally comfortable and taken care of, and Saucey nailed it. If you're looking for a spot not only with delicious food but also with people who genuinely care about their guests, this is it. I'm so grateful we chose this place to celebrate. I'll definitely be back!

Jessica the bartender was quick to pour a Fugazzi cocktail that was so tasty with this bubbly purple color. She got skills! A true Mixologist! And was easy to talk to. For dinner I had a Capri State of Mind (love the name) with fried Prosciutto, Ricotta, Basil, Lemon Zest and red sauce. The crust was perfect and stayed crisp and dry. The atmosphere is comfy yet upscale. Great bar seating and tables. Joel the owner was fun to talk to about pizza and how to get the perfect cold fermented dough. Had a great time chatting about the Catskills cool to meet somebody who knows. The spot is near the borders for Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island, that’s where you’ll find Saucy Pizza Bar and good times and probably some new friends! I should have taken photos but was having to much fun.
