Great vibe and super friendly staff. I was looking for a good sweet cocktail, and the bartender recommended a hidden menu drink — a sweeter version of an espresso martini. It was absolutely delicious. The small bites were also amazing, especially the persimmon cake. Perfect place to come with friends, hang out, and enjoy a relaxed, cozy night. Highly recommend!

I came here one evening as a spot to hang out with friends and it was chill. While Say Hi serves as a tea house during the day, at night, they become more of a bar. The inside is absolutely beautiful and while they have tables, they also have more traditional floor seating.
We got a couple bites of food to eat, some of their tea, and some cocktails. Their food was very mediocre, at best. While the persimmon cake SEEMED to be made in house, it was very clear that everything off their food menu required minimal preparation (ie. for the dumplings, it was just har cow). I also thought their cocktails were okay, and out of the three we got, none stood out to me. I did enjoy their tea, however. But, it was also fairly expensive for what it was (~$50). Overall, I thought this spot was okay for the price and I'm not sure I would return.

our waitress had such good recommendations. Moonlight and Fried Garlic Ribs were great! I personally liked the Snowy River cause the of the hazelnut flavor 🥰 Great service and great appetizers! We went when they opened around 3 so there was no other customer. An unlucky day where our waitress was the only one working so I feel bad but she did an amazing job. We were pleased. Restroom was a mess probably from the night before. They had chair seating in the glass room and floor seating in the back. Both are good options

The ambiance was relaxed yet stylish, perfect for catching up with friends or a date night. I’ve already recommended it to everyone I know—it’s a rare find in New York where both service and food are truly outstanding. Can’t wait to go back!

I absolutely love this place. It's peaceful and beautifully adorned with traditional Chinese décor, offering views of a charming courtyard and a cozy sunroom. A discreet service button at the table means you're never interrupted. Every dish we ordered was thoughtfully prepared: the fried tofu was perfectly crispy on the outside while keeping a delicate interior; the taro cake was both delicious and beautifully presented; and the jasmine tea jelly had a lovely floral aroma with a subtle tea flavor. The peach oolong tea was fresh and perfectly balanced. The serene environment makes it easy to relax and enjoy meaningful conversations.

It’s a perfect spot for a date night or just hanging out with friends. The back area, with its traditional tatami-style seating, is especially charming.

FOOD TOUR
We went late afternoon and were there for 10 minutes before they greeted us. Then they proceeded to seat us but on our way to the table, told us we can’t order anything for 40 minutes. ???!!!!???
I was confused so asked them to clarify. They said their boss and cook were not there and food service was not available. What??
We left and came back an hour later and the door was still opened but when we walked in, someone said we are closed.
Why don’t you lock the door or have a closed sign?? We wasted paid parking twice!!
The service is a joke. Obviously, they have no consideration for their customers.
After reading reviews of all the bait and switch tactics, I’m glad we avoided that mess.
