Stopped by for lunch on a weekday and there was no wait. All the other customers were Korean so I think this place is authentic. Soondae was one of the best and the other side dishes were all good too. Food was delicious and the spicy beef soup is perfect for cold days.

It is difficult to find a restaurant where you are served with great hospitality and courtesy. The food at 서울 뚝배기 (Seoul Ttukbaegi) is amazing. It has a very extensive menu that ranges from a good 돼지국밥 (broth with pork), the typical 보쌈 (bossam), 순대 (sundae) which is delicious, to a new addition to its menu such as 감자탕 (spicy broth with pork bones ). The friendly service makes you feel at home and enjoy a large assortment of 반찬 (banchan, extras) with 김치 (kimchi), 깍두기 (radish kimchi) and other condiments that you can even repeat.
Without a doubt, for the Korean and foreign palate, it is a must-see place in Queens.

The new menu item, Gamjatang, is really great! As soon as I took a spoonful of the rich soup, I was impressed, and the meat was soft and generous, so I was extremely satisfied. When eaten with rice, it was the perfect combination. If you like gamjatang, be sure to try it. It’s a taste you won’t regret!

No matter how many times I try the food here, there is nothing on the menu that is not delicious. This is a place where you can feel the deep flavor of not only the kimchi radish kimchi but also each side dish. A place that makes you miss your hometown with the deep taste of old Korean grandmother's hands. It's really delicious. I'm moved every time I come here!

Traditional Korean food. I'm totally guessing but based on the usual all Korean patrons, this place had to be authentic. You won't find your usual bibambap or jap chae here. We have blood sausage, boiled pork belly, cow knees, various intestines and ox tail soup. All good stuff.... If you're looking for top notch service and atmosphere, this isn't exactly the place but the food is genuine and authentic. Check it out.
Authentic, delicious and homemade Korean comfort food restaurant. I had the hangover soup and it was really delicious even when not hungover :) Everything tasted so much better than what is sold at the Korean supermarkets. High quality and a lot of love put into the food <3

I ordered and ate sundae soup, but the sundae was served separately. The sundae was better than the Byeongcheon. I thought the soup was a bit bland, perhaps because I am a picky eater. Next time, I will try the pork soup and bossam.
