Parking is a bit of a challenge during dinner hours, so expect to park 2-5 blocks away. In short, a must-try hidden gem in Flushing across the street from Murray Hill LIRR station and 10 minutes walk from Flushing main Street 7 train station.

Wow~~ I thought i was in korea.. if you want to experience korean authentic food you should be here... reasonable price with quality food I get to talk to the owner and they told me there are no MSG used. very comfortable after heavy meal

I had one of the most shocking and disrespectful experiences at Seoul Ttukbaegi.
I paid $53 for my meal and left a $6 cash tip on the table. As I was walking out, a male employee literally followed me outside and told me the tip was “too low” and that I had to leave at least 18%.
This is completely unacceptable. Tipping is not mandatory by law, and aggressively confronting a customer outside the restaurant is beyond inappropriate — it felt like harassment.
I gave another dollar just to make the situation stop, but I left feeling humiliated and deeply uncomfortable.
I will never return, and I urge management to seriously retrain their staff on basic respect and professionalism. No customer should ever be treated this way.

I love visiting 서울 뚝배기. My mom and I visit regularly. The service is friendly and food is delicious. It is like eating home cooked meals. There is no dish that my mom does not like. It reminds her of Korean food she had back home. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Really loved the food here! Amazing, authentic Korean food with delicious kimchi/banchan. I thoroughly enjoyed the huge, flavorful and warm bowl of Yeokgaejang. Very friendly staff. A casual atmosphere where the locals go. Would highly recommend!

Stopped by for lunch on a weekday and there was no wait. All the other customers were Korean so I think this place is authentic. Soondae was one of the best and the other side dishes were all good too. Food was delicious and the spicy beef soup is perfect for cold days.
