The worker who served me was very friendly and offered samples to try. They bake their sweets fresh every morning, and you can really taste the quality. I ordered 1 kilo of sweets and a few samosas for my family. The samosas were extremely fresh and fried to order—not microwaved like other places. The sweets were delicious, fresh, and very well made. Prices were very fair, and the customer service was excellent. I only wish they were located closer to me, but I will definitely be back!

What a delightful experience visiting Shan Sweets. The person was super nice and met with great wide smile.

When I enquired about a certain sweet and what is is he offered me to taste it right away and was super duper delicious.

I havent seen a shop that serves freshly fried samosas before. Everyone has pre made old samosas which they microwave. They made fresh samosas even though i just wanted 4 and OMG the taste transported me back to my childhood shool canteen lunch 💕

God bless :)

I ordered sweets from Shan for Diwali, and they were absolutely delicious! The gulab jamun was soft, rich, and perfectly sweet, and the jalebi was crispy and full of flavor. The presentation was lovely too — perfect for the festive season. Highly recommend Shan for anyone looking for authentic, Indian sweets!

Stumbled upon this mithai shop with my family, and it was an absolute gem! The sweets were incredibly fresh and flavorful- the best I’ve ever had in NYC (and I’m a native New Yorker). What made the experience even more special was the owner’s warmth. He welcomed us like old friends and shared stories about his journey for making sweets. We’ll definitely be back again soon!

We came to get some samosas. The owner apologized that they had to be fried and offered us samples of their sweets to help pass the time... Wow! I had never tasted sweets this good in my life before. So fresh and high quality. Almost like a religious experience. The samosas were outstanding as well. Thank you!

Absolutely outstanding. If I could give more stars I would. We were only looking for samose but the proprietor insisted we try the mithai. I have never had mithai of this quality outside the subcontinent. Even the samose are superb.
