This place is amazing and the chicken soup was fresh and hot and delicious especially in this cold freezing weather we're experiencing. The owner also gave us a free rice pudding to take home with us. I also purchased a baklava from him. Looking forward to the sweets later. Please come and support your local restaurants.

This place is seriously unsanitary. One of the workers (the owner) was outside smoking a cigarette, then came straight back in and started preparing our food — no gloves, no hand washing. That alone was enough to make us uncomfortable.
On top of that, the guy working the front (Spanish guy) seemed visibly out of it, like he was high on something, which didn’t inspire any confidence at all. This isn’t even the first bad experience here. Overall, it felt unhygienic and unprofessional. Definitely not coming back. Overcharged, make sure to check your receipt before leaving. Wouldn’t recommend coming here at all tbh. Much better off getting junk food across the street from McDonald’s

While I was waiting for my food (which they already messed up), the owner was busy arguing with another customer trying to convince him that lamb and beef are basically the same thing… like bro, what? 💀
On top of that, the lettuce and the entire salad smelled rotten, and the chicken both smelled and tasted spoiled. Overall, really bad experience — poor food quality and even worse customer service. Definitely won’t be back.

I had to leave a review here - the food is always fresh! The meat, salad, rice, and snacks are all great.
My favorite dishes (and the ones I recommend) are the chicken sandwich and the chicken bowl. I've tried many halal food carts in Astoria,Jackson Heights, and Manhattan, but this spot is easily three times better.
Hope they stay the same and don't spoil the

Astoria is known for great food and this place hands down made the best chicken falafel 🥙 probably I have ever had 😋 . Had to leave a 5 star review. I really think the place is worth checking, it has diverse menu with burgers too, good seating and chill atmosphere with very nice pictures Highly recommend to try !! Great Shwarma and Falafel in Astoria ! The chicken thighs are so tender and the falafel are light, crispy and perfectly seasoned. They catered a big office lunch and the food was hot and delicious. Homemade hummus and babaganoush are delicious! They’re right downstairs from the Ditmars Blvd train station .
