I tried Smokey Chick for the first time and was honestly really impressed. The chicken pieces were huge, fried perfectly, and tasted fresh — with actual flavor in the batter. I was pleasantly surprised, especially compared to Pelicana, which I’ve found pretty bland in comparison.
It’s a tiny, hole-in-the-wall spot, but the people running it were professional, friendly, and very efficient. The customer service was genuinely great.

The burgers are okay. They used to be good before but lately, their food tastes like it’s been made earlier and put to sell for later. The fries taste like they were fried and then reheated. And the white sauce given was spoiled. I had to throw it away. And today, even the burger tasted like it wasn’t made fresh or maybe the chicken inside wasn’t made fresh. I’m disappointed because this place started out very well but it’s going downhill lately. The atmosphere is decent...

5 tender combo meal, $13, really not a bad price. I thought the buffalo sauce wasn’t like the best ever, but it also was fine and I was glad to have it. Default for a 5 piece should prob be two sauces. Thats all!
