Visited on Nov 2, 2025. The owner publicly yelled at and insulted an employee in front of customers for several minutes…!!! The employee was visibly upset. I was uncomfortable and will not return until management addresses this behavior!!!

Went to Sofia Gourmet and was helped by a pleasant person last week BUT yesterday I arrived a half hour before closing and the person (someone with face jewelry) would not make me a salad because they said they are closing soon. I will never go back there again!

Sophia is a wonderful place to stop at and enjoy their selection of treats. There coffee is excellent and their service is exceptional. Christina and everyone working there are always pleasant and treat everyone well. Highly recommended!

My partner and I love getting sandwiches from here for lunch! They have a perfect amount of options and they all slap! But our favs are The Genovese and Polpette(meatball) sandwiches. We can’t recommend enough if you want an Italian sandwich. As well their desserts and pastries are yummy too.

The two female staff that work here are so rude. Unfriendly and seem like they don't want people to come in. The food is dry and stale just like their customer service. Avoid going to this place. Worse cafe in queens.
