Love the peruvian food here. Prices are reasonable.

Took a trip to Sol Boulevard in Flushing and basically ate like I was preparing for the Peruvian Olympics. šŸ…

Started light with Salchipapas — aka hot dogs and fries, because sometimes you just need that ā€œkids menuā€ energy. Then came the fried calamari with yuca fries… which I’m convinced could bring world peace. šŸŒŽšŸŸ

Warmed up with Caldo De Gallina — rich chicken broth so comforting it felt like it knew my childhood secrets. 🄣

And then… the Seco Combinado — beef oxtail stew in cilantro sauce with beans and rice. One bite and I was ready to apply for Peruvian citizenship. šŸ‡µšŸ‡Ŗ

The food was good, but for two adults (two plates and one soda) and one child ( mom and child split a plate) the bill totaled to $75.00 dollars.

The waitress tipped herself 20%. Never coming back.

The food has a Peruvian name but it does not taste Peruvian at all.We ordered papa a la huancaina. It was missing the taste of aji amarillo, garlic, onion and cookie. We also ordered pescado a lo macho....missing the wine flavor. Portions are ok. The service was okey, I have to congratulate the male server. However, the female waitress is rude. In general the restaurant lost flavor and quality in the dishes. I wonder if the chef is Peruvian because....he needs to be retrain in Peruvian flavors.

The service by the ā€œmanagerā€ is awful. Her service is awful she not even give extra napkins. She doesn’t check on you. Food is expensive for a small portion. The service and food are not worth it. Spend more than $100 for 3 small dishes. The waitress/ manager was so rude . I tip her in cash less than she putted on the bill ( tip is voluntary according to the service) she followed me outside for more and she threaten saying that she’s going to charge on my card. She doesn’t even deserve tip. I don’t recommend this place.

I went today for Father's Day and they removed breakfast, offering a main course as if it were lunch, I remind you that Fathers also eat breakfast ?

I'm going for Father's Day to have breakfast with my wife and I'm surprised that they took away breakfast that day. They offered me main dishes at 10 in the morning. Suddenly I went to Urubamba and the restaurant was full selling breakfast.

My wife and I have been eating here for years, they have always been consistent. Hands down the best Ceviche we've ever had and the pisco sour is also top notch. All the different dishes we've had have been excellent. Wonderful hidden gem in Queens.
