I went with my family to celebrate my 32nd birthday. The food was 10/10 andres, our waiter was super kind to us. The appetizers were super delicious. When the main course arrived, Andrés recommended that we combine my steak with a wine that was spectacular. I would definitely go back to this restaurant again and again.

Went here for a date night and was overall pretty disappointed with the experience. The service seemed disorganized - our table wasn't ready on time, we only got one menu, we weren't given a wine list, our waiter seemed really spread thin but she was very nice. The food was the real let down though. The tuna tartare had a weird taste to it that was off-putting, that fishy taste that day old seafood starts to get. The pizza we ordered was almost soggy and relatively bland. Although I'll admit the fettuccine was pretty good.Overall, considering the price point, I would recommend going elsewhere.

Deliciously salty cacio e pepe, and a fresh Napoletano pizza - really good tomato sauce. Great service.

We had a great meal and loved the atmosphere with the open kitchen as the center piece of the space. The team took care of us like old friends.
Sotto la Luna is a hidden Italian gem in Astoria. Definitely check it out if you're in the area. Open space and cute decor. The food is authentic and delicious. My favorite dish was the seafood couscous risotto, and I was told that they sometimes make it with rice. I'm definitely coming back to try the

Overrated and overpriced food for the portions you will receive. If you want to eat Authentic Italian cuisine there are far better establishments with elevated service. Our dining experience here in fact was very disturbing as we began the night waiting over 10 minutes just to be acknowledged, this was followed by the owner/waitress giving us attitude for politely declining her upselling other items on menu, from then on out our hospitality drastically declined with attitude and rushed service to seat the next batch of patrons. Our table consisted of a napoletana pizza, their signature sotto la luna pizza with truffle and a fettuccine pasta and a lasagna pasta, with a check just shy of $150.The seating arrangements are very condensed and you can practically rub elbows with the table near you.Overall if you want to believe the hype go ahead and give them your hard earned money, in my honest opinion everything here felt overrated and overpriced with a very unpleasant experience. Lots of belligerent drunk patrons r busy hour not being aware of their surroundings. For the POC out there, you will definitely not feel welcomed.Parking: Non existent, received a ticketKid-friendliness: Definitely not kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level accessible.
