Totally normal, Anyplace USA interior to this spot, but I have a suspicion that the Chef here is really some kind of Kitchen Superhero. Hands down best American Chinese food In Astoria/Woodside/LIC, in my opinion.
Have gotten delivery because it is super fast, inexpensive, and decent. Some dishes are great--I really like the Szechuan bean curd (pictured below), the pan-fried dumplings, and the eggplant in garlic sauce. The egg foo young and broccoli in garlic sauce are fine; both the sesame tofu and the sesame chicken are a soggy mess. I've gotten the Kung Pao Chicken twice. The first time it was super fresh tasting and great; the second time it tasted like rancid oil. Still, because...
