Got delivery while babysitting, not a local. It was so good. Black bean sauce actually tasted like black bean. Orange chicken had fresh cut orange slices and plenty of flavor. I wish I had this quality where I live. Family who lives in Astoria said it was really good too.
I miss my old go to Chinese restaurant.I moved out of Astoria during the pandemic to the west side of Manhattan. You’d think they’d have good Chinese out here. After trying nearly a dozen places there are none that compare to the Chicken & Broccoli, egg rolls or General Tso’s that Sunrise had.I’m appalled I can’t get good Chinese here.I had to circle back and at least let others know what a great spot they have in Astoria and not to let it be taken for granted like...
Probably the best "fast food" Chinese spot around the area. The fried chicken isn't overcooked. Portions are larger than other spots. They also gave me a free soda with an order over $20 without me asking for it. I'm making this a staple the next time I'm in the mood for Chinese.
