Sunshine Food has a decent selection of starters, which we enjoyed. However, the mains were disappointing, lacking the quality we expected. Additionally, they don’t seem to follow specific instructions, which affected the overall experience. Overall, an average meal with room for improvement.

We went for the breakfast buffet.
Food is okay, but nothing I would go out of my way for. You have everything from Desi omelet, halwa, chanay, aloo salan, keema, nihari, biryani, puri, and paratha with chai and lassi.
I only had the halwa, chanay, and puri. Tasted a bite of nihari which I did not care for too much - had a smell which I did not find appealing. Everything else was basic - you can make better at home.
Service needs work. No one to greet you or help you get seated. Literally just walked in and grabbed a plate and sat down ourselves for the buffet.
Atmosphere is nice, they've kept it clean with faux greenery on the walls and pakistani art wallpaper.

Phone is always busy, they just leave it on and unattended. Impossible to place an order for pick up and then have to go in and wait 15 minutes for 2 naan
ok so everyone should know the reviews are all rigged and fake LOL, these are all opening reviews from friends or family because this place is below average. service is horrible! wait time for orders is 1 hr atleast. lady up front has a disgusting attitude and she doesn’t want to be there… so why are you there?
food is below average at most.. waited 50 minutes for an order of a few kabobs and naan bread and it was a waste. please “halal guide” and their fellow groupies stopped these paid promos.

food: i’m pretty sure this is the authentic, very different from the americanized version i usually have, and i’m not used to it much. but must say: must be authentically good!
service: went to there twice at 12 and 12:40. waited 1 hour and 20 mins for buffet, which is supposed to be served at 12. and no water only for us!

Finally after a lot of tries & long travel I finally reached the new talk of the town lol. ! Now the question is was it all worth it, Oh yes, definitely!
I didn't realize they have buffet every day, that was a pleasant surprise. It's been too long I had buffet. Altho I have realized I need a friend with me who eats good to try all the yummy items ! Next time ....!
After some authentic Pakistani food I also tried firni ( rice pudding) one of my favorite dessert & it was yum! Then as a desi I can't end a meal without a cup of hot chai, so I tried the Kashmiri chai. It was my first time trying it & I am not a fan of it. But I know for a fact it's a delicacy from that region & I am happy for the chance of trying it.
The service was great, would have been excellent but only one guy can't be taking care of everyone! I guss around evening time they have more people to help out. Hope at-least on the weekends they have extra help on lunch time .
I also checked out the restroom , was specious & clean. Hope it stays this way in future!
Thank you guys for an awesome experience, hope for the best. Keep up the great work. I have also added this business on Yelp, hope it helps this excellent accomplishment!

This is new restaurant with different owners, but same dirty people working here, they use their bare hands to add salad to kebab rolls, and then wrap them. (Note: This is not a third world country mind you, this is America). Then they handle money, and treat customers with an attitude, disrespect and uncurtious manner.

We went for weekend brunch which is from 9.30a to 1pm only. Reached there 11.30a because finding a parking spot is difficult because there is another Diner around the corner. It is at former Taste of Lahore location, same management. It was crowded with no tables available. Had to wait about 15 minutes but some guests had to wait much longer. Lots of dishes: halwa, puri, naan, chick peas, potatoes, tea, omlette, biryani, haleem, paya and nihari. Most dishes were fresh and tasty. For just 15 per person it was a steal

Overall it was ok. Prices are impressive but chicken karahi was more like curry.
