So I've been craving crawfish during the quarantine and when I saw a mala style place opened nearby (previously xunyu sikao), I decided to give it a try. 2lbs of crAwfish mala style and their sour vegetable fish came out to $77. My favorite part of the crawfish is the head, I love sucking the brains out of those bottom feeders and none of these had heads, also they did not taste fresh . The sauce wasn't so bad but more oily than spicy or mala. On to the sour vegetable fish. Way too sweet and the fish they used was those thick style hotpot fish fillets. Sichuan mountain house and Daxi do way better for this dish. It's a nice place and I know they just opened plus the waitress was nice so I hope they improve
