My favorite omakase place thus far!!! Been here 3 times and all my friends that I brought loved it as well. Chef Kin made our experience so exquisite. Def will be coming back!Came back again and wanted to praise Chef Sam! After a disappointing experience in Times Square location, I wanted to show my bf the experience I always had in Bayside. He was very welcoming and accommodating. He took his time to explain the whole process to my bf who is new to omakase and we both loved it. Everyone at the bayside location is professional and very accommodating. Much appreciated!!!

Excellent experience @sushibybou_ #bayside The classic Sushi By Bou experience is a timed chef's choice 12-piece omakase for $60. Be on time! The omakase round begins when all diners for the time of the seating have arrived. Sushi chef served us directly at the sushi counter, guiding us through the meal, providing a truly exclusive experience. Sushi was fresh, tasty, well presented. Restaurant was cozy, city vibes, loved the decor. Good value for the quality of sushi and experience. Parking is annoying. Have to look for a spot on the local streets. #highlyrecommended

What an amazing experience! Booked this for my boyfriend's birthday dinner and we were not disappointed. The sushi was so fresh and was created with such skill to watch. The chef was great and he explained every piece of sushi he served. He also got gave the guests sake shots on him! The ambiance was great with good disco music. We had a 6pm dining so it was not crowded at all. I would def' go back!

What a delightful culinary journey! From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere whisked us away into a realm of relaxation. The staff, with their kindness, made us feel like royalty. And oh, the food! It was beyond amazing; each bite of sushi was a flavor explosion that left us in awe. The presentation? Simply stunning! This place doesn't just serve food; it crafts edible masterpieces!

Decided for our party to have omakase here after intending to dine at its front store neighbor, Baraki. We found our way to the back and found the disco centric theme fun with its great retro playlist it had going. We all opted for the one hour 17 course, and the $100 price was well worth it. FISH QUALITY was great with a selection that had well balance of lean to fatty and rich seasonal pieces. Rice had perfect texture and well seasoned. THE CHEFS and HOST really made the atmosphere comforting with fun and lighthearted chitchat.

M partner and I had the extra 18 piece of Omakase and Sam really treated us well. The truffle toppings were Amazing but most importantly the seafood was so fresh and every piece melts in your mouth. The scallop was fresh and the roe is one of the best I have ever tried. everything was perfect but we also had the best treatment from Sam. it's been a great Saturday

Second time dining here. We had the 18 course oMakasi. Memorable experience, just wonderful. Every morsel chef song prepared, was sophisticated, culinary delight. Chef was attentive to our needs and accommodated our modest request. Love Rachel the hostess. Her vivacity and assistance may the evening all the more pleasurable. Drinks were great! I'll return.

Excellent omakase experience. The food was amazing; there wasn't a course we didn't enjoy. The service was exemplary; from the wait staff to the bartender to the sushi chef, they all contributed to a great dinner. Highly recommend.

Chef Sam did an exceptional job of keeping our group of 4 engaged while serving our fresh 17 course omakase. Biggest highlights were the Toro nigiri with fresh black truffle, gindara(broiled black miso cod) and BIGMAC, a la carte( layered slice of toro, wagyu, scallop and sea urchin on a taco shape temaki). The 1 hour omakase was just enough to savor and appreciate the craft behind the sushi bar.

Brought my gymmates from Eastern Queens Boxing Club and had a wonderful time...again. The experience is too notch. I always recommend sitting at the sushi bar. The sushi chefs, hosts and servers are so friendly and accommodating. Just be on time.

Sushi by bou, does decent albeit uninspiring and boring omakase. Ingredients they use are okay not extremely fresh nor are they particularly bad, but at this price point I guess that should be the expectation. Would love more creatively with the creations since freshness and quality of the ingredients are not what's being showcased here. Either way not a bad spot in a jam
