We came around 5 and ordered their chocolate cake and a matcha croissant (that looks square) I was actually amazed by how good the chocolate cake was. The cheese filling on top was so good. And the matcha croissant was buttery and tasty. It wasn't that crowded, great place to enjoy your coffee and study!

Place is very nice and varieties of dessert. I went to pick up some desserts today after my gym. There was only one guy working there. Forget about greeting the customer when I said hi also he didn’t respond. I found it very rude so I just walked out workout buying anything. This is not the first time with this guy. He is literally rude and no sense of customer service.

Pickup a Sesame Basque Cheesecake this evening. It’s an unusual combo but overall the cake was pretty good along with the sesame frosting. It’s fresh and was made that day (called in and ordered it) I took it to an evening dinner with friends and got good feedback on the taste. The only negative I have is the cost of the cake. It’s price at $60 almost $17-$20 more than the other cakes. It’s not that amazing that I would order it again.

What a POS place. I go in needing to use the bathroom and I tell them I’ll buy something when I come out. They said no the boss’ rule is you have to buy something first. Wow the trust in humanity is low here. I tell her gimme X, she takes her sweet time and I’m like could you hurry please. She could clearly see I’m not some bum off the street. Then I try to pay with my apple pay and it’s oh $10 minimum. I’m not going to pay $10 to use your bathroom ok? I say just charge me the 3% credit card fee. Oh we don’t have the ability to do that. My GOD the inflexibility!!! The absolute lack of humanity!!!!!!!!

Visiting from Chicago for the NYC marathon and needed a coffee and some food. Ran into this place accidently. Service was outstanding and very welcoming. Caramel coffee was 10 out of ten and egg sandwich was different but very delicious. Great neighborhood spot and would definitely come back here. Great variety of pastries and selection of drinks.
