Tacos were delicious. Highly recommended the Al pastor and the baja crispy fish. Maribel was amazing with her recommendations

Fun place for a date. The tacos were really delicious (shout out to the al pastor) and the michelada and margaritas were tasty. Service was slow at times and the biggest knock is they're a bit overpriced. Overall, a solid spot and worth stopping by if you want good food in Forest Hills.

Don't need a reservation to come eat here, the service is fast and the food is too. They have a kids menu and I think that's good. The atmosphere of the restaurant makes you feel like you're in another era. The Lupita lemon drink was delicious. The only thing I missed was the option of having more cilantro for your meal. The food really tasted delicious and I would come back to enjoy a meal here.

I'm familiar with the Tacombi chain due to visiting a few of the locations in the city over the years. This location is convenient & the great taste of the food remains. I had the Baja fish + black bean & sweet potato tacos while my company had the pork. They LOVED the pork tacos & I truly enjoyed mine as well. I did notice after sampling the black bean and then the fish, the flavors clashed a bit. In the future, I'd finish off the black bean taco FIRST in hopes that doesn't happen because it was delicious. Atmosphere was a bit underwhelming & prices are similar to the city locations. Come by on Tuesdays when they have B1G1 for "Taco Tuesday" to justify the visit.

The truth is that according to it it has Michelin stars but they will be made of tires because the food is too out of range to be good.
I ate 6 tacos for 70 dollars and I wasn't full and the portion was very small.

Been to many other locations. My food this time around was really bad. I had the chicken taco and the carne asada quesadilla (I didn’t even like the way it smelled). Waiter didn’t ask if we were ok when the plate was still full. Spicy margarita was so spicy my wife didn’t drink more than a sip. Also wasn’t asked about the drink when it was still full.
We had the guacamole and corn esquites which were usual.
Was really disappointed.
Won’t come back to this location.

Burritos and chips were okay, nothing special I’d rate it a 3/5. For the price I’d say it’s probably not worth it. However me and my friend ate there and both good food poisoning the day after. Bad stomach aches along with watery stool. Something must have been contaminated.

Fantastic tacos!!
My go-to taco place. Never failed, always deliver delicious taco and good service. I love their fish taco and shrimp taco. The only thing I wish is the chair is a bit bigger so I won't feel like falling off. The atmosphere is nice, cool to hang out.

They made us wait for reservations. First 15 minutes, so me and my friend went to grab dessert from a store nearby. By the time we returned they had given away the reservation. They said they only held reservations for 10 minutes, meanwhile there were several empty tables inside. We wanted another reservation and we're told to wait 30 minutes. We left, there are way too many options on Austin Street, Forest Hills to get good food from. If you're ever in a situation like this with them just google the 50 other restaurants near you. Leaving was definitely worth it, we went to eat instead at a restaurant two blocks away. They had us sat immediately we walked in and food arrived early.
Parking: Can be hard to find parking depending on the day

Love the collab with El Califa De Leon, but I usually go for the Corn Esquites, Carne Asada Taco/Quesdillas. Friendly staff! But I wish they can bring back Mushroom Quesadillas.
