One of the most delicious Beef Birria tacos u can taste. Made with Jalisco Brisket and Chihuahua Cheese…too delicious to make this up.😋 The tasty rich dipping broth gives it extra points ⭐️…Chris the bartender was respectful , kind and attentive. Great customer service from all the staff🥇

Food was delicious! We went on a Tuesday so we got one taco and get another free. The service was excellent! The guacamole was fresh, tacos were served beautifully as well. The fresh waters ( horchata and watermelon) were great. Not too sweet, they were perfect. Our server was Guadalupe, she was so sweet, kind, attentive and very helpful. We will definitely be coming back!

The food has great flavor. Unfortunately the service is not acceptable and the burrito is incredibly small- more like an appetizer size. I will not be back.

Terrible experience at Tacombi in Forest Hills. I used to frequent Tacombi often and absolutely loved their fish tacos, but sadly their quality has gone down significantly. I went for lunch on Taco Tuesday to get 6 Baja fish tacos - not only were they underwhelming (not as crispy as before and fish was not as fresh), I got horrible food poisoning from that meal that’s taking me roughly a week to recover.

Do yourself a favor and avoid Tacombi.

Taco Tuesday’s are amazing here. Probably visit here once a month.

Great ambience, a place you can bring friends laugh and drink without a care in the world. Although tables are close, there’s enough noise to drown out and I have to say the vibe really makes it enjoyable be it a date, with friends or family.

I personally think this place is affordable despite the reviews on price for tacos.

Better to book a table but wait times usually vary from 10-15 minutes even on a busy Tuesday night.

One thing they can improve is their service and wait time. Takes forever to get food sometimes. So I usually order at once. Their shrimp taco is easily the best one on the menu. And the corn esquites is a must.

A must-go spot if you want spot-on tacos with consume. I had the pleasure of having the Birria Beef and the Baja crispy fish taco. Both were delivered with the right amount of flavor; it did not disappoint. Service was fairly good. The atmosphere paints a nostalgic vibe from the late 1970s/80s; you'd have to go and see and experience it yourself. I definitely recommend.

Prior to coming to this location, I looked up the times of their happy hour (screenshot attached) and it said 7. When I arrived, I realized a sign that said it ended at 6. A little frustrated because it was a far drive to get here and the clock said 6:10.

Walked up to a hostess that has the most unwelcoming face I’ve ever seen.
I asked to speak to a manager to see if they can at least honor the happy hour price for 1 of my drinks. They rudely said no and that the online information wasn’t updated and it hasn’t been until 7 since last year.
The manager and hostess are the worst but as far as my waitress and the chef with the cool mustache they are great !

So just a heads up for anyone coming here for happy hour, the internet is wrong. Happy hour is 4-6.
You’re welcome Tacombi! I did your job.

Overall, food was soul less. Beef ribeye tacos and the chicken tango were flavorless. Taste like food that’s been sitting around just put together. Definitely not worth the price. This is second chance visit since couple of years. They have gotten worst. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Best authentic tacos in the area in my opinion. Wow! I was amazed with how good everything was. Service was incredible and pretty quick. Its a little pricey but the quality was worth it.
