truly and thoroughly disappointing. I used to love Taim and went to several of the locations in the city over the years. I've ordered from this one a few times and it was fine, but not great. whatever, things change. I decided to give it a try again, thinking maybe a couple years would make a difference. it did, but not in a good way. this was among some of the worst mediterranean food I've ever had.
the "bowl" I received was soggy and sad. the tiny amount of lettuce I received seemed to be a couple days past its best, and the toppings were nothing special. eggplant just tasted like fried food, and there was no egg on top like there used to be.
it didn't come with pita, so I sprung for a side order of babaganoush since it is included with that. the dip itself was mediocre, and now it only comes with half a pita, not a full one, which isn't noted anywhere on any of the different menus available on grubhub/ubereats/their terrible app. and this measly pita appeared to have been microwaved in a plastic bag? with none of the zaatar. it was rubbery and flavorless.
the side of falafels I also got were also pretty bland and dry, and they were literally smaller than bite sized. not worth the money.

tbh I'd probably be just as happy at panera next time.

p.s. the staff was friendly and they seemed to be coping well with a surge of delivery orders. and yes, the food court is nice but Taim has nothing to do with that other than paying the corporate landlord.

It's not a big deal that the food doesn't taste good but the biggest thing is that they cheat the customer and the food tastes very bad.

Do yourself a favor and don’t order from this place.
Insulting is one word to describe the experience.
Ordered a chicken shawarma bowl and falafel on the side with tahini.
Received a very small chunk of chicken shawarma, definitely doesn’t taste like one.
Rice that was stale, burnt falafels and watery tasteless Thaini sauce.
No pita although asked for it and overall went straight to the garbage.
What a shame - used to be Taim there.

So - I really like Taim, because the flavors are good. Even if you messed up on what to add (which can be very confusing at times), it still taste good. I had ordered lunch on the app, and did notice that it took considerably longer... but the staff is not slowing down, they are urgently filling orders and the cashier / person filling the ubers and all orders is very active and driven.

I wish for their app or menu, a taste description is there for some of the items. Though, I know - which restaurant has that? But I think for a place with so much of these fixing, it helps a person like me to understand the flavor or what I am going to get.

My order was accurate to what I had asked. Additionally, the food court this Taim was in was really nice.

Beware if you order the bowl from UberEats or DoorDash - they will not include Pita and the only option to click is NO PITA…but even if you don’t click NO PITA, they still won’t give you pita. I’ve even tried adding a comment on the order to please remember to include pita, and still they won’t include it.
I’ve tried many times now and will no longer order from here until this is fixed.

Ordered the chicken shawarma bowl. Chicken was insanely salty, way too much rock hard rice, very few fresh elements like pickles and tomatoes. Little to no sauce. Could barely finish half of it.

I recently dined at the Taim Restaurant branch in LIC and was absolutely delighted with my experience. The meal was outstanding, offering a wonderful blend of flavors that left a lasting impression. Every dish was prepared to perfection, showcasing the high quality and creativity of the kitchen.

His recommendations significantly enhanced our dining experience, introducing us to some of the best dishes on the menu.

Thanks to the fantastic food and exceptional service, Taim in LIC has now become my go-to restaurant. For a casual meal , I know I can count on Taim for a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and top-notch service.

Every bowl I’ve ordered has been good. I hope Taim stays in this food court.

Sometimes they do forget items but I chalk it up to being busy…

I didn't get one of toppings and the 2 sauces I ordered, so there was zero flavor to my bowl. I checked the receipt and the missing ingredients were listed there. On top of that, I chewed on 2 small sand-sized rocks, likely form the lettuce. I ordered delivery, so I couldn't get this fixed. I will not order from that store again. Very disappointed.
