Falafel pita was really good. Chicken shawarma was dry. I will go back again I’m hoping next time chicken isn’t dry.

Food was horrible and expensive I’d rather go to Astoria Steinway if I wanted real shawarma or falafel stopped by in a rush first and last time trying‼️

This was our first time trying Mediterranean food and certainly the first time trying this place. Food was actually really, really good and exceeded our expectations. Ingredients are very fresh, chicken & steak shawarma was flavorful. Food was light but very filling. One thing though, the music was way too loud and we thought we ordered two bowls. Slight miscommunication but the man at the front was extremely friendly. Everything turned out fine because that one bowl was filling enough for the both of us! We've been very health conscious these days so we'll definitely be back. This and Pokeworks is now our two favorite spots.

the food is so bad and dry. The portion is so little. Not worth the money. and the "israeli" salad is basically shirazi lol

i placed an order online through uber eats and specifically noted "please put all sauces on the side ?"
1. I received a completely different sauce and ONE sauce .. i ordered two
2. I did not receive my cauliflower
3. There were extra sauces inside my bowl? (not what i ordered) . I also did not put pickled onions on my bowl but it came with it..
Thanks for the experience, never eating from here ever again! highly don't recommend, there are better restaurants with way more effort and care towards their customers.

Hey the food is great and I like ordering from here. on 6/15/2024, I made an order but when I got my food, the order was incorrect. I contacted the store and was told that I would get a full refund. However, I still have not received a refund. I contacted the store again recently and they said to leave a review so I can be issued a refund. Just wondering if I can get an update about this.

Today is July 15, 2024 and I went to your establishment and got a bowl with chicken Shawarma and I just wanted to highlight that you guys have awful portion control. I don’t understand as a regular customer why I have to constantly worry about what to expect when it comes to the portion of my meal like you guys constantly change the portions one day it’s a good sized bowl. The next you get something that you’re like what did I just pay for, the thing you continue raising is your prices. I don’t understand what you guys don’t like keeping it consistent for the regular customer. On top of that you guys offer a free pita bread with bowl meals which I love. I always look forward to fill it up and making myself a sandwich and eating it with my bowl. Why did you guys cut it in half? Doesn’t make sense why y’all are taking whatever y’all are going through as a business out on the customer. Get it together please because I enjoy going here but I can always stop

The flavors are good but the service and product received depends on whether or not you tip. I ordered takeout and skipped the tip when the front-end person flipped the screen. I instantly noticed the change in demeanor and body language as they watched.

The same front-end person proceeded to prepare the bowl as the two remaining employees were moving behind the scenes and prepping stuff. The bowl was horrible as if they scraped the bottom of the pan and used the dried and overcooked chicken.

I get the fact the hourly rate for tipped employees is far lower, but that’s not the case here. Taim is NOT full-service dining. The NY minimum wage for non-tipped employees is $16 and that’s the floor. I’m sure Taim pays higher.

Should non-tipped employees at this non sit-down dining experience be on par with employees working at the tipped rate in full-service establishments that bring you silverware and water? Time to get rid of the tip screen. Your employees are using it to drive their behavior. The 2nd order effect it’s having on the visit is unfortunate.

I’ve been here a few times and each time I tell myself I’m giving it a new chance.

The food itself is fine. It’s a chain shawarma place; the shawarma itself is not my favorite as it is seasoned somewhat strangely for my taste. But there are a ton of topping options to customize that it shouldn’t really matter. Comes as a bowl or in a pita.

This location’s seating is actually fairly nice, window and outdoor options available. There isn’t a bathroom which has always bothered me.

What astounded me this time was the drink option. If you check in on Yelp you get a free drink, which seemed to surprise the super nice cashier. However, before knowing this I had gotten a 16 oz fountain drink for $4, which is outlandish. The food pricing itself is on the normal/heftier end but this really left a sour taste in my mouth.

For what it is, it’s fine. Won’t be getting a fountain drink if I give it another chance!

Amazing and authentic taste!!! Im a fan of the red pepper Baba ganoush. The portion size is enough to fill you up. Can’t wait to try more items on the menu.
An extra star for the tissue paper ?

Young guy at the cashier was very pleasant & helpful with explaining the menu. Chicken was a small portion & lacked so much flavor. What a disappointment being next to QDoba.

AMAZING!!! This place is so underrated! It’s hidden behind bigger restaurants like Five Guys and Applebees, but the food here is so good! I got a pita with hummus, avocado, and falafel. Food is light, but is very tasty to chomp down. The amount of choices here is incredible!! You can get pretty much whatever you want in your bowls or pita. Love this place!!!

I was brought here for the first time by my girl friend and my experience was terrible the store was clean don't get me wrong but there was a tall black gentle men who's customer service was horrific and his light skin cis female coworker was no better I asked simple question and they immediately dismissed or replied with idk for basic questions involving there job the food wasn't any better wouldn't come back here while there maybe it's just those workers but I won't be returning thank you. The workers also had no name tag so who ever was working June 2 2024 at 3 to 4 needs to be retrained thank you
