This place is great. Ate here multiple times and each time it was good. Ramen especially very good. servers are very friendly. Only thing is the chair on one side is the bench type without back so it can be little bit uncomfortable. But this is one of those places that you can keep come back to and you won't be disappointed with food each time.

It’s a small ramen restaurant decorated with One Piece memorabilia. The service was good. We were seated right away and the waitress kept an eye on us the whole time making sure our water glass was full. The ramen was solid good and my husband had the tonkatsu (fried pork). The Chaysu Ramen had four pieces of fatty pork. The soup was a bit salty but went well with the noodles. The cabbage added some extra texture and needed fiber to the meal.

Excellent service! I had the shrimp gyozas and pork buns for appetizer. For my main dish I ordered Kara Miso Ramen (Spicy) which was both filling and the taste was so flavorful. I suggest getting it with an extra egg and extra noodles! Will be back for sure!

Update: I took a long break from this place because of my past review. I recently started coming back here again and the place has turned around. Service is super, food is great. I think management changed. Menu is slightly different. This will continue being a weekly place for me.

Past Review:
I’ve been here three times. The food is worth it and it’s the only spot in the neighborhood with this type of food. Unfortunately they need to improve their service and waits staff DRASTICALLY. If there’s one thing steering me away is the not so friendly service. Every time I come here, I feel like taking my order and being served is an unwelcome burden and the wait staff doesn’t enjoy either their job or people. They hired one new ACTUALLY friendly waitress as back up and hopefully it helps. We will see.

The food is incredible. Great place if you’re looking for a cute segue to the Japanese culinary culture.
We tried most of the small plates. The nigiri was amazing and so was the takoyaki. We have yet to try the ramen but everything was absolutely delicious.

The staff is also very attentive and friendly. We had a great time. The mochi icecream on the house was a very lovely touch after a great experience. The decor is also very nicely done. Outstanding prices as well!

The ramen here has a rich flavor, and the broth is pure. Many restaurants serve Japanese ramen with broth that's not hot enough, but that's not the case here. Every time, it comes out piping hot, a bowl of authentic and delicious ramen. I'm a loyal fan, and new customers should definitely give it a try.

The champon ramen is the only thing that I get from here on a consistent basis. It’s so good. Rich, a little spicy, and the noodles are fresh made and taste the best

The yakitori and other skewers were just microwave. Even Kaarage was not fresh. The Tsekemen was dry and hard even after put into noodle for a minute or two. The ramen came with Chinese topping instead of Japanese. I told the manager I knew about the dish and she spent a few minutes arguing with me about the Tsekemen and finally unwillingly canceled that under cook dish. They just skipped too many steps to make their food. They really lack "Tamashii" (soul) for their food, service, and environment. Put away Chinese poster if you want to create a Japanese environment.

This place is extremely hidden gem. Foods were very fresh. And it was very delicious. If you are a big One Piece fan and love Studio Ghibli’s Joe Hisashi musics, this place is the best place.Their service of leaving mochi ice cream as a courtesy service was great as well. Will come back for more.
