This one used to be nice. But recently is not good any more. 1. Signature Ramen soup taste like water. Chef inside should have changed. Tempura is exactly the one you can buy in Costco frozen food. Will not visit again any more anf would not recommend to friends anymore. I hope their Forest Hill shop can maintain better quality.

Come here every couple of weeks for late night dinner. Food, cocktails and atmosphere is great. They don't have a huge menu but everything is good and the yakitori is great. Only thing missing is some sushi options.

Ah I’m so sad, I used to go so much but now the quality has significantly dropped.I remembered recommending Tamashii to colleagues who don’t even live near as THE SPOT. Idk if they changed owners but now it’s just another restaurant with food-court levels. The broth was watery with minimal aftertaste. The two pieces of pork were too fatty and a little cold in the middle. The noodle was constantly good. But 2/3 of a standard ramen is subpar …Please improve and I look forward to changing my views !

Being honest, this place ain’t allat. The cold noodles were closer to undercooked, the broth don’t taste authentic, and the broth was cold. This place is very mediocre, but you can go try it if u want.

I didn’t realize that there were two DIFFERENT restaurants in the same building. Their decor is also pretty similar with all the One Piece “WANTED” poster.. don’t be like me and if you’re meeting people for ramen IT’S ON THE GROUND FLOOR. Izakaya (I was sitting up there reading their menu for a bit lol) has yakitori and Japanese hot pot.I came here with my fam and kiddo on a Friday night. We were able to get a table no problem and there were two different servers manning the restaurant. They were so friendly with our toddler, allowed us to walk around with her so she wouldn’t get fussy during our meal, and were just fantastic. The ramen wasn’t the best I’ve ever had BUT for the price per bowl it’s definitely worth it. We also got a couple of apps which were delicious as well. The best one we ordered, hands down, had to be the agedashi tofu. Usually at other restaurants I’d get a couple small square blocks of fried tofu and some sauce. Here, you get a bunch of bonito flakes that added that extra umami flavor, scallions, and pickled radish. Delish! We were surprised with mochi ice cream on the house at the end of the meal and if that wasn’t a sweet enough deal, if you pay with cash you have an 8% discount. It was definitely one of my family cheaper dinner nights out and we’ll be back again!

Ordered pork katsu, received leather katsu. I have never realized leather is edible and can be actually pretty delicious! Highly recommend to anybody who wants to try eating leather for their dinner.

It has been months since last time we passed by the area and had ramen there. But recently when we talked to people about best ramen places in NYC, Tamashii came to mind. Service was impeccable, ramen was great and atmosphere was awesome. Recommended to our friends and will definitely come back.

"Tamashi Gold on Bell Blvd offers an exceptional dining experience with their outstanding takoyaki and ramen. The takoyaki is perfectly crispy on the outside with a flavorful, tender filling, and the ramen boasts rich, well-balanced broth and perfectly cooked noodles. The ambiance is inviting, and the service is top-notch. A definite must-visit for Japanese cuisine enthusiasts."

I've been here a few times and they're consistently delicious! They have a good variety of food and vegetarian options, including ramen.Vegetarian options: You'll need to ask which broths are vegetarian, but the servers know immediately and clearly.

Excellent, attentive service and delicious food at very reasonable prices. I had the Katsu Fish and my wife had the Teriyaki Salmon and we couldn't believe how tasty it all was. Highly recommended!
