House Of Music was and beautiful Bar and a wonderful experience. Bartenders and neighborhood customers were very friendly. I will definitely make this place a regular stop for Tacos and Margaritas.

My girlfriend and I had a great experience. Good atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The drinks were good and the steak tacos were great. We’d ordered the guacamole and chips and asked them if it came with tomatoes (I’m allergic) the bar tender came back a few mins later and let us know that their guacamole was made with tomatoes but that she would take it off the bill. A manager (maybe the owner) stopped by the table and offered to make the guacamole fresh without tomatoes. We’re thankful for the generosity and would recommend House of Music to anyone.

New management replaced one of my go to Mexican spots. They cut off all the good stuff and started doing just basic tacos. They blast their speakers into the public, which is really annoying. They seem to cater specifically to a crowd of motorcyclists and a slingshot owning jerk who parks on the sidewalk, so it has become one the loudest and disrespectful spots in the neighborhood. Someone got slashed outside the bar last week, probably unrelated but this whole block is going to hell. Never coming back here as long as blood pumps through my veins.

They're not familiar with their own menu. I ordered a Texas Burger from their menu and the man questioned me and then asked his colleague. When she confirmed that they do sell it, he took the order. The burger I received was not a Texas burger. Not even close. I had to give it back, show them their own menu and wait for the correct burger. Disappointing because the vibe seems cool and the food isn't bad at all. Learn your menu.

BEWARE, SCAMMERS. I recently went here for dinner that totaled $35 before tax. This was my first time coming back here after the change of ownership/management from El Patron, and the food was disgusting. I could not even finish one taco and discarded the remaining food. Service was inattentive/nonexistant, and we constantly had to flag down the servers and wait until they weren't busy on their phones to acknowledge us. We always tip 20% at restaurants, but this food and service was so bad that we wrote $2 on the tip line (honestly more than they deserve) and walked out. I checked my credit card and noticed that they the final approved charge was $59. I did the math and the only way that makes sense was if they added a "0" after my tip of $2, and gave themselves a $20 tip. There is no way I would authorize this for such terrible food and service. I tried asking the restaurant about it and they said that I must have forgotten how much I tipped. That is not what happened. Currently have a dispute open with my credit card company over this. Save yourself the headache, and money, and avoid this place.

Cool atmosphere, wanted to like this spot more but the waitress’ energy was already kind of weird. Impatient when we asked questions about the food, seemed a bit annoyed (like making a comment under her breath). The order was half wrong when it came out so my partner and I switched meals to try and figure it out since that wasn’t what he ordered. Food wasn’t at all that impressive, meat was either overly seasoned or not seasoned much at all. The best thing were the chips and salsa and the fries that came with the wings. But unfortunately the wings tasted of poor quality. Texture was so off. Nothing really would make us want to return but it was worth a shot anyway.

BEWARE! PAYMENT THROUGH ZELLE! First off, they no longer offer chips with salsa for free as this place is under new management and is now called "Orale" instead of "El Patron." So that alone tells me they no longer value their customers as I enjoyed munching on some chips as I waited for my food to arrive. Second, their menu has changed drastically as I was looking for the "Spicy shrimp burrito" since it is my favorite dish and they no longer serve that anymore. I decided to give this place a try and order 3 tacos (no flavor, I had to rely heavily on the sauces given to me) and a classic American Burger. The bread of the burger was so hard and burnt (picture provided) that a Pit Bull dog would chip its teeth. Also, the meat of the burger was not seasoned or flavorful. Lastly, the lady told us that a credit card machine was not working (she didn't know how to operate it) and asked us to Zelle her the bill with her personal number. I will never come back to this place again and will look for other Mexican restaurants in the neighborhood.

Menu also lacks clarity in some places.As far as atmosphere, I walked in from the rain to someone abrasively singing karaoke that was legitimately painful. Dining area feels super cramped, and I was just in to pick up a to go order.
