really fast service and amazing food
Good food, good service. Can't complain.
Delicious convenient Chinese food. The combo of sesame chicken with fried rice and a spring roll was so good. Fresh food and crunchy roll. My new fave affordable Chinese restaurant.
Very good Chinese food.
Very good Chinese food, authentic.
The worst spoiled food chicken wings
I was as so excited to stumble upon this no frill Chinese bakery and restaurant. I moved to rego park recently and I was worried that I wouldn’t find many places to eat that I was familiar with, but seeing that there’s this bakery is very comforting as it was a staple for me in Jackson heights. I really liked their sponge cakes and was thrilled to see they had cheap boba for just $4 for a small. The staff also seem pretty nice. And the storefront itself is very casual, no frill and local, which maybe not many people would appreciate but it was comforting to me. I cant’rate based on the actual food besides the pastries as U can only eat vegetarian/halal, but I can still see myself as a regular here!

The only place in the area that makes pan fried noodles, the food tastes fresh and is reasonably priced. They close at 9 pm.

Restaurantji Recommends
This review is based on 3 different visits during March & April 2024.The place has an A Letter Grade. It is small & a little cramped, but it is clean & the service is polite. It is a relatively popular place - I never see it packed nor empty. The best thing about this place is that they accept debit AND credit card!!! It is refreshing to enter a chinese mom & pop store that isn't cash only. I honestly can't remember the last time I've been to a Chinese restaurant that accepted any card. The flyer menu layout is generally understandable, however some sections are missing the price. Additionally, the "Drinks & Breads" sections are lumped together for some reason; the prices for any drink is not listed nor the size options available, plus none of the bakery options are actually listed, just the words "breads" & "buns".The meals are disappointing. They tend to be dry & flavorless & just leave you feeling like it wasn't worth the price. However in defense of Tasty & Co, my family & I tried two other Chinese restaurants before this one & never returned to those other two, so I think that says something! The only thing that has made my family return is the baked goods offerings. The prices are good & the portions suffice. The roast pork bun is the best thing we've tried here thus far. It isn't as great as the Austin St Fay Da's buns - it has a bit less pork & is not served warm, however I don't know if it's possible to ask for it to be warmed up - but it's still a nice size & a great price, $2 each. I have tried the coconut tart & winter melon bun - they were also reasonably priced but were lackluster. Still better than the meals tho lol. From what I remember of their menu, the last thing I'd like to try are the red bean buns. Update: the pineapple red bean is tasty!Lastly, the bubble tea. The large cup is indeed a large cup, & it is a pretty common price for bubble tea these days. I tried the taro - it wasn't spectacular, but still good!!
