this is pretty low budget place. they rely on steady customers for who else would want to walk into this place. half lit flourescent lighting. telephone has even been disconnected and no plans to restore service. but at any hour of the day you can come for decent mexican because its the only 24 hour mexican place that i know of. the guacamole is decent. the tacos are great. burritos are decent. upon request they will make a veggie burrito for you with veg saute. the cactus salad is ok, i just order this to eat the roasted cactus. the lettuce and tomato are not that good. service is good. the jukebox is great. for some reason jukeboxes are so addictive. they are kinda like video games in pizza shops, the game never seems as fun as at home. for example i even know someone who bought a refurbished ms pacman machine for home use. you can listen to 97.9 or 105.9 all you like in the comfort of you own home but you just get a strong itching to hear the music coming out of that box. at various hours there will be some drunk guys eating and drinking here but they are harmless, as long as the jukebox is cranking some rancheras. sometimes it even becomes a karaoke place, if you know what i mean.
