5 Stars-Tha Café
Tha Café is a whole vibe. The moment you walk in, it just feels good—comfortable, stylish, and full of positive energy. Whether you’re coming to chill, eat, or catch a vibe, this place sets the tone right every time. It’s got that real West Indian flavor, both in the food and the atmosphere.
The owner is cool and welcoming, makes you feel like you're part of the fam. The bartenders are fast, friendly, and on point—no long waits, no bad attitudes, just good people doing what they do best.
And the food? Fire🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Seasoned to perfection, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell it’s made with love. This ain’t no basic menu—every bite delivers. It’s that kind of food you think about the next day.
Tuesdays between 4 PM and 2 AM—that’s when the spot really comes alive. Good music, good people, good energy. And weekends? Always lit. If you know, you know.
Tha Café is definitely a go-to. Comfortable, attractive, welcoming… everything a great restaurant/lounge should be. If you’re in the area and haven’t pulled up yet, you’re missing out.

One night out on my recent trip to NY and my buddy recommended that we have out here. Nice mature people restaurant and club. They had vegetation options that were good and the food was really good. The music level and selection was also really good. The friendliness and prompt service from the waitress was on point. I would certainly hang back out here the next time I am in town.

As a health department deputy for NYC, I want to share my thoughts on our recent experience celebrating a family member's birthday. We requested a neutral dinner option for a child, but the white rice was a bit too spicy for their taste. We ended up remaking the meal to make it more suitable, which I'm sure the staff would have been happy to assist with if it had been brought to their attention. Additionally, there was a small oversight with the drinks; the waitress charged for an extra additive to the Hennessey, which we didn't taste the extra shot in the drink, which we hadn’t expected plus the sweetness in the drink. Overall, the atmosphere of the restaurant was enjoyable, and I appreciate the efforts of the staff. Thank you for a memorable evening!

Superb ownership. I’ve been to their previous establishments and they always set the bar for class and style with a West Indian spin.
Sundays are your day to experience a live band and singer performing great Caribbean classic songs.
The food is awesome literally everything is a great choice.
Why do all Jamaican restaurants have feisty workers? Why? 😆 The servers of your food are all beautiful young ladies but act like they are annoyed to be of service. I must admit it’s not all of them but the few do suffer for the many.
Otherwise this is your place for a sexy date night, grabbing a couple drinks with friends or to get a great meal to stay or go.

First time dining in this local, super cozy hide away nook neighborhood restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. The service was awesome and the drinks 🍷 were amazing. The table seating is nicely spaced out and perfect for dining in or sitting at the bar and soaking up the vibe. The music 🎵 was 🔥🔥 food was decent and lots of street parking. We will definitely be back. Tha Cafe gets 5 stars ⭐️ easily.
Dietary restrictions: If you are on a low sodium diet be careful as the Rasta pasta dishes were a little salty

🇯🇲 Nice spot close to home. The ambiance was really. My biggest issue was the staff, mainly THE BAR STAFF! I watched them be so rude to customers. It was so bad i wanted to leave just watching it happen. I would come back for the food and ambiance BUT not until i know that bar staff is gone(especially the petite girl, only because she was the worst).
P. S. Please dont just change their title and hide them in the kitchen because that negative energy would not be good. Maybe she can do outside sanitation?
P. P. S. Please post a sign outside letting us know shes gone. Thx
