You get what you pay for. The food was cheap. The taste of the food was bad at the stand that sold 2 choices of food over rice. You may like the taste but I didn't.

Wow. Just wow. The mohinga was so good and comforting. We ordered the large and the portion was generous. Can’t wait to come back for more!

Thar Gi Mohinga serves the best Mohinga in New York City hands down, and this includes our previous favorite Mohinga from the long closed Village Mingala in the East Village and then the (also now closed) Cafe Mingala on the Upper East Side. Their tea leaf salad is also excellent. I would say that overall this is the most delicious and authentic Burmese restaurant in New York City at present. Ten stars if I could!

I never write reviews but I need to here. I lived in Southeast Asia for like a year and Burmese food was one of my favorites. Amazing Burmese food here! So glad to see one more Burmese restaurant in queens. Their mohinga and Burmese tea are so excellent - esp the tea!!!!! The tea was mind blowing - best tea ever. I also bought two boxes of their bean chips (whose name I can’t pronounce lol). Excited to try more dishes next time!!!

I don’t like Monhinka. The worst Monhinka I ever had. I’m sorry.

Great Burmese Food with caring customer service. The 'A Sone Thote' was clean and came with a soup to complement. 10/10 would go again.

This Burmese restaurant is inside a food court. The thick noodles are very flavorful and comes with a cup of fish soup. Great for a quick and cheap but filling meal.
