I have been going through a Door restaurant for years and their food never disappoint me. I live in Brooklyn and I jump on the train and travel two hours just to get their food. It’s worth the train ride.

Everyone at my job speaks highly of the door restaurant and honestly It is my go too special restaurant for over 20 years. My husband and I enjoyed our breakfast and coffee this morning. We ordered ackee and salt-fish with ground provision and vegetable omelet with home-fries and a side order of fry breadfruit. Inside the restaurant looks very clean and the ambiance is beautiful and cozy and the services that the staff provide is awesome; friendly, funny, welcoming, attentive...

This restaurant did not live up to the hype for me. We were able to get reservations on short notice for a group of 16 and parking was available. Service was average since we barely saw our server. Some meals took longer than others to get. We loved the calamari, but the jerk chicken and stew snapper were a bit dry. The veggies were barely touched because the green beans and carrots were too hard. The music played was enjoyable though.
