The Halal Urban Bistro aka THE HUB

I’ve been super excited for this spot to open ever since I saw the sign go up.

It’s such a welcome addition to a neighborhood that seriously lacks variety. There’s a lot to like about this place. As of now, the indoor restaurant isn’t open yet, but there’s a food truck stationed in the parking lot. There’s plenty of outdoor seating and great ambient lighting—it makes for an ideal outdoor hangout, just in time for summer.

The menu is simple—I’m talking four items simple—and it’s perfect: smash burger, chopped cheese, fries, and loaded fries. I ordered two plain cheeseburgers and fries to go. The patties were doubled up but could’ve used a bit more salt. I’m looking forward to trying the burgers with their sauce to see how the flavor profile comes together.

The fries were well-seasoned but also a little under-salted. I think a bit of spice could take them up a notch. A few sauce options would really elevate everything and make this spot a banger.

Best Halal food I ever had. Everytime I order anything from the menu it always slaps!!! I can’t wait for the restaurant to open!

Pros? Food is great!
Cons? Slightly overpriced followed by rude staff members/owner! They always have an unwelcoming attitude everytime.

First time coming here to try the hub it was amazing. The experience for me was top 10. The people at service are very respectful polite and the customer service was top tier. I appreciate them. And the food was banging on top of that loaded fries was amazing. The burgers had a bunch of flavour. The only thing that I’m upset about is that they’re not on Uber Eats And that they don’t have other locations, no restaurant, but hopefully Inshallah they expand great food great service And would love to come here again on many occasions in the future

Very less chicken in sandwich.

I went here expecting a great experience because of all the glowing reviews, but I was completely let down. The food was bland, poorly prepared, and the portions were tiny—not at all worth the price. I honestly suspect that most of these reviews are fake because my experience was nothing like what I read. Save your time and money; there are much better food carts out there

Good burger and fries. Their chopped cheese is also good. I wish the service was faster, I waited almost 20 minutes for my food. But overall great experience.

My guy Waqas always blesses up not only with his professionalism and demeanour but with his service. Last night we got the Smashed Egg Maple which is a 15/10 and loaded fries with beef. Best thing in my opinion is putting some of the fries in the crossaint but only if you’re in bag back season.
