Charming ambience however drinks are pretty pricey. Last time I went here the service was quite pleasant and patient but none of our drinks were carbonated, pointing to a negligence to change the gas in their taps. My vodka soda was a vodka water and my friend’s draft beer was flat.We later saw a mouse run across our feet and left, after spending more than we wanted to on drinks that were not right.Such a shame

I’ve been three times and likely will keep going as this bar is close to me and a great atmosphere generally with good music. As with an earlier comment I’m not a fan of one bartender. I think he is rude and pretentious and there’s just no place for that when neighborhood people are just coming to enjoy a drink with friends. I’m not asking for a bartender friend just a person who is pleasant and efficient. Doesn’t seem like much to ask.
A great bar on the northern side of Astoria. Love the vibes and they often have pretty great bands playing.

What's with the bartender (Matt?) . Dude had the biggest attitude I've seen in many years. Hoping he just had a bad day cuz my wife and I walked in and were pretty excited to be in a different bar in our neighborhood. He wound up acting like an asshole screaming to her where to find the bathroom, then poured her the wrong drink and up-charged the vodka in my drink without telling me. I mean why would I ever go there again? What a shame. Maybe we just need to find out when he's not working.

Have always loved this place and it’s super convenient for me but tonight I bought a beer ($9) and was then charged $5 for a soda water. I guess this is normal now but I have never been charged for a soda after having bought a separate drink before.
