GOOD STUDY/WORK SPOT: plenty chairs and outlets. Coffee was okay, not amazing but pretty good. Atmosphere was spot on for a work from home spot with not so many people unless there is an event -came here few times mostly for the cafe but also for the bar

Very cozy place, quiet atmosphere to relax for a moment, excellent service. I was undecided what to drink and asked the bartendersomething different. He offered me an excellent cocktail. Thank you Luis..I will definitely return.

Super endroit pour passer un séjour en groupe. Le personnel est super accueillant. Beaucoup d’activités artistiques sont proposées. Je recommande vivement. A consommer sans modération.

I booked a room at the last minute after my flight was cancelled, and was so impressed with everything about The Local. They were so helpful and accomodating, from my initial phone call, to letting me check in early when a room became available, to booking a cab to the airport early in the morning, at their discounted rate. The Local is situated near the iconic Gantry Park, and is walking distance from shops and sights. The rooms are well designed and super clean, and the lobby has everything a traveller needs, from computers, printer, charging area to a bar area, comfy couches, local art...and my favourite: a roof top lounge area with views of the NY skyline and Queensborough Bridge. I highly recommend staying here!
I went to this hostel to meet new people, and it was another great experience. I enjoyed the roof top party for the 4th of July watching the fireworks, and the people I got to meet. I would highly recommend it if you are adventurous and like meeting new people.
Unique experience! My first time in NYC and I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. From the warmth of the hosts to the chat with the bartenders. Hostel clean and within the health guidelines against COVID-19. Location close to the metro station and with an incredible view. In a 15min walk you can see PepsiCola Park ~ beautiful beautiful beautiful. ????#PerrengueChique - For women, solo travelers, it's good to be careful when leaving the subway. I also had a little discomfort with a rude roommate, but the hostel immediately offered to improve my stay.
