I love many of the pastries, but the chocolate fudge cake tasted like cheap overly sugared Betty Crocker frosting; totally disappointed. I was looking for a cream cheese lightly sweetened slice! I’ll definitely stick with the carrot cake.

I love the food in this place, the grilled cheese (I never remember the name) is just my favorite! All the food and drinks in general are very good and the place is pretty, the only thing we didn’t like was that we have to wait for the check for a while.

Oasis Cafe in Astoria has some of the best freddo cappuccinos and freddo espressos in NYC. Their croissants are addictive. Chrysa and Athena who work here always make sure the coffee is perfect and are very friendly. They make the Astoria Oasis location a great hang out spot!
