I recently had the pleasure of dining at Zafran Grill with my husband , and the experience exceeded all expectations,Alhamdulilah.The steak was impeccably cooked, reaching a level of perfection that truly showcased the chef's skill. The chicken parm sandwich, a delightful surprise, was not only juicy but adorned with just the right amount of cheese, making each bite a flavorful delight. The Lamb chops were tender, flavorful, and generously portioned. My husband enjoyed every dish.The service was nothing short of great, adding to the overall positive impression. My personal favorite, the mint mojito, stood out as a refreshing and well-crafted beverage. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, as this place has become a definite go-to.The welcoming atmosphere, coupled with an ideal setting for families, made it a fine dining experience. Notably, the assurance of Zabiha halal food further adds to the appeal for those seeking specific dietary preferences. Overall, a stellar dining destination that I wholeheartedly recommend.

Had lamb chops and Steak sandwich. Would definitely recommend steak sandwich. It's no big deal but I don't like restaurants charging for water when the customer is already paying 100 why charge for water when not asked for bottled water. Anyway good place with great food overall.

According to the price and atmosphere, it is a great place for dinner and hang out with Family and friends. Really liked the place. Food was good. I really like the steak. To me, this is the best halal steak i have tasted in New York. Pasta was very good too. Beef burger and chicken supreme wrap were average, nothing special. Calamari was good but wings were average. Drinks were good.

I finally got to eat at this restaurant, and it was worth the wait! First, it was easy to park because they have a lot of space in the back.The people who work here are really nice and made us feel welcome. We came with our family and had some small dishes and drinks to start. The Spicy Jamun drink and Mango Mojito were really good.For our main meal, we had lamb chops and steak. The lamb was great, and the kids loved the steak.So, if you’re looking for a good place to eat with friendly people and tasty food, this is it. I can’t wait to go back!

My family and I had high expectations for this place since we went to the one on Hillside and loved it. The atmosphere is ok, they kept the red walls and their old paintings they had at Hillside.The garlic bread was a joke. It was literally hero bread with some butter and chunks of garlic, was bitter. The steaks lacked flavor, the pasta portion was too much for one order.The most disappointing was the sides. Both spinach and mash potatoes was unappetizing. Spinach was half raw and tatsted bitter, the mashed potatoes tasted like the ones you get frozen at grocery stores.The owner said everything was the same as the hillside location which did not taste like it. Hope they do better.

New and improved location for Zafran. The interior design is very nice. The restaurant can accommodate large parties. The food options is great. The service was good. Tons of parking in the back lot. The owner is a very caring and nice person who really values the customers and their needs. I would highly recommend to bring your family, friends, kids.

Loved the overall experience. Spacious location with good decor and plenty of parking on site.Steak was perfect, juicy, and soft. They served a good portion of boneless ribeye. Given the thickness of the steak before the first bite, i thought it must be chewy, but it was well made. Fully cooked and juicy. There was a little issue with our original order, which they replaced right away. So, 5 stars for excellent customer service.We ordered a Zafran appetizer combo, and everything was delicious. Potato skin was crispy and flavorful. Chicken wings were loaded with spicy mango salsa. Chicken Fingers were well made.Staff was friendly and well mannered. The restaurant was clean overall.Zafran burger was good.We loved all the drinks, lychee Thyme, strawberry margarita, zafran cosmo, and our most favorite Miami vice. All tasted good.Will definitely be coming back. Very good addition to NYC'S HALAL STEAK places.

I had the boneless ribeye steak and it was amazing. ? It came with a side of mashed potatoes or creamed spinach I chose mashed potatoes and it was delicious. ? The best I’ve ever tasted and the steak was delicious as well. It was juicy and soft I loved it definitely will go again someday. And the services over there was amazing. And the staff was amazing too. They were polite, good listeners and friendly. They came by on time, asked what we wanted, and did everything properly. 10/10

the staff was so welcoming, friendly, and sweet. i came around closing time with family for my grad and they were phenomenal. they surprised me with a graduation treat ☺️food was amazing as well, it’s rlly nice to have halal steakhouse options nearby. thank you for making my graduation night extra special ?

Craving for a different new sandwich ? well i found mine in Zafran Grill their zafran steak sandwich is the one to give a try pictures don't even do the justice.i got mine medium well and it came out perfect for my liking. we also got chicken bites (scarfed it without taking pictures) they were soo good and the mango sauce it was drenched in was so good.in addition the mexican burger was good too but their virgin mojitos definitely the best on island.Steak sandwich 10/10chicken bites 10/10mexican burger 7/10mojitos 9/10Gajrella 8/10now a big shoutout to the service very friendly and took time to explain all the options and the owner came to ask us about how the food and service was.

We had a chance to dine in Zafran for lunch. The place is amazing very clean excellent food good price (if you ask for lunch special menu).I’m sure the dinner will as good as lunch which we will try very soon. Food was delicious. Their appetizers came out quickly and tasted amazing. Steak was cooked medium and done perfectly. Being one of the first halal steakhouses that I’ve tried, it was above my expectations and I would definitely recommend trying their dishes. Chicken parmigiana was tasty and full of flavor. Will definitely be returning to try more of their menu. Staff was kind and efficient. The manager also made sure we were properly taken care of and made sure we were happy with our meals.
