Food was tasty but they ran out of some items by the time our table was called.

The food was horrible. The Mac and Cheese tasted burned, the turkey wings and chicken looked undercooked, the fried chicken had fried fathers attached, the cornbread was dry. The staff was polite and I was made to feel like I HAD TO give my coat to be hung up.

I gave my mother a surprise birthday party on February 10, 2024. The manager was very accomodating and fulfilled all of my request. The house DJ was awesome. The room was set up perfectly. The food very tasty and nice and hot. the staff was very pleasant. I brought my own cake and the staff cut, plated and served it free of charge. Money well spent.

I would highly recommend Thomasina's Catering Hall for hosting a special event. The staff was attentive and pleasant. Tony, the Operational Manager, was professional and friendly. My guests were still talking about how much they enjoyed the food days later. I'd definitely host another event here without hesitation.

Went here for the Thanksgiving dinner and a show. The collard greens were soaked in vinegar and not cooked, mostly everything was cold. The fried whiting fish was delicious. I got some from a fresh pan that was hot. They took forever to serve the food due to only a few servers. The show was a live band which was okay. This was a last minute decision being that everything else was booked. This place looks old and it needs work.

Excellent choice for celebrating a family member's milestone 75th birthday! Working with the manager, Tony, was always a professional and engaging experience. Tony ensured our vision was executed to our satisfaction and went the extra mile to accommodate special requests; such as creating a quiet retiring room for nursing mothers to use while in attendance at the party. This was greatly appreciated, thank you!The servers, Bryant, Corin, and Crystal were professional and generous with happy dispositions. Coat check attendant, Zoe, had a warm welcoming personality that set the guests at ease upon arrival. Thank you to Tony and all the staff that helped make our event a beautiful success. I highly recommend Thomasina's Catering Hall!

It’s an outdated dump. It just looks old. The lobby furniture looks like it’s 50 years old. The setup/serving staff is rude and unprofessional. They don’t know how to operate their equipment. For example they put multiple dinner plates under the LCD projector to level it and did not know how to set a microphone so we didn’t have one for the singer at our event. I would not recommend this venue

Food was horrible. Fish tasted like it was frozen and fried with no seasoning. Rice and peas were slightly soggy. Vegetables were barely steamed and definitely not seasoned. Cornbread was like eating a sponge that dries up I. Your mouth at 1st bite. Sautéed chicken or whatever it was was not enticing. Fried chicken was better but nothing to write home about. Biscuit was so hard couldn't even bite it. The servers look unhappy at what they do. Especially the girl. I truly believe this was a waste of money. The venue was decent but that's it. It is wheelchair accessible if that matters. The iced tea was good and the ?. But how can you mess up a salad??‍♀️. They need a redo of cooks and servers. Good luck!

Was there a couple days ago... Not 1 smiling face, the servers especially the heavy set woman (RBF) acted like you just woke her up from sleeping and put her on the floor... You better know what you want also because she'll tip to the side and stare at you... Do I have to talk about the food?... Alright, here we go. Fried chicken was very dark (need to change the oil), over done & salty. The 1 skinny piece of fish they offered was perfectly seasoned and fried well. Cabbage... I felt like a cow grazing like why attempt to steam, offer it raw (was the same), cornbread had to have been from last week... dry & crumbly. Potato salad had zero flavor and a lot of vinegar or something twangy going on, Mac & cheese was over cooked and dry (they were able to cut little squares like a building block), I like my baked Mac & cheese laying pretty on my plate)... Fish balls they call them... well, lots of mushy breading and a tiny dot of something was inside, wasn't tasty at all. However, they can load me up all day long with their mini beef patties!!! Delicious. If you don't want to go into a diabetic coma, do NOT drink the iced tea. I was really excited to dine there as I heard good news in the past... Not so much today...

Thomasina's is a dump. Some of setup and wait staff are rude and unprofessional and do not know how run all of their equipment. They used dinner plates under an LCD projector to level it--very tacky. They did not know how to set up their microphones so we didn't have one for our event and we really needed one. They couldn't provide two small tables of equal size on which to place an urn, flowers and two photos. They only have one easel in the entire venue. The furniture in the lobby looks like it's over 50 years old. I would not recommend this venue. The food was ok.

We had a wonderful Repast at Thomasina's. Vivian was an excellent event planner and was easily accessible at all times. We were able to create a menu that our guest enjoyed at a reasonable price. Tony was able to receive our cake the day before the event and store it safely. The entire staff was professional and courteous. We are so glad that we had our event at Thomasina's.

I've had the privilege of attending an event at this business on more than one occasion. Most recently, Thomasina's catered my uncle's repast on Tuesday. I was very satisfied with the quality of the service and food extended to my family. It was very reasonably priced for the quality received. I would recommend this business to anyone who'd like top quality rendered for any event.

My sister's Memorial Service and Repast were held at Thomasina's Catering Hall on September 23, 2023. The food and service were excellent. The manager, Mr. Williams, was kind, attentive, and very accommodating. The hall was immaculate and nicely decorated. It looked absolutely beautiful. I would definitely hold another event at Thomasina's Catering Hall in the future.
