I have been hearing about this spot often. One of my friends said the food is good but to be weary of what days you go because service is an issue. At this point I have been several different days (weekdays) and (weekends) and I can tell you the food is ok, Im from Manhattan so I get many different options and great food...but the service was horrible. I'm sorry I can not and will not spend my hard earned money with bartenders with negative attitudes running around with frowns on their face. Every time I have gone (gave them 4 chances) this one bartender I think her name Sade they call her (don't quote me on that) but no no no... I felt like I was bothering her to ask for a drink and the vibe was not GOODVIBES ONLY so you know I'm not with it. Its very unprofessional from what I'm used to and you can tell no one cares about her attitude or service but what they failed to realize is a referral from a person like me would boost business... yea not gonna happen. Its a shame nice looking spot, food is good, and DJ was cool but can't deal with staff that are too entitled. We were looking for a venue in Queens for my Job to buy out but not with service like that. Even some table service people were moody and rude when I sat at table once (light skin girl ) don't know her name but a brown skin guy with glasses was very professional....and thats the TRUTH.

Went here to start off my birthday weekend and I received the VIP treatment! The owner came out and introduced his self and mingled with my friends and I. The music was nostalgic and at a certain point a DJ came out. The server was so sweet, patient and helpful when it came to the menu selections. Will definitely come back

This place needs to close down. The food is lousy. I ordered the pasta with the chicken breast and all I got was white sauce there was practically no pasta or chicken in the container. My sister ordered the jerk chicken pasta and she could not eat it either. I ordered fried Bammy and it was draining with oil. Don't try to call they do not pick up their phone. There is a girl that works there after I brought back the food and left it on the counter she tried to get nasty. I would never order from them again. I wish I knew who the owner was. The people there is going to put the owner out of business.

My wife insisted that we visit this neighborhood restaurant. Our curiosity was rewarded mostly because the food and service were both outstanding. The unlimited brunch menu, for food and drinks, for $49.99 is one of a kind. The orders we went with consisted of chicken and waffle, ackee and salt fish, along with callaloo. All the dishes were served hot with amazing taste. The first mimosas were prepared well; however, the subsequent drinks never lived up to the first taste. Nevertheless, the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly.

However, upon arrival, I hesitated; the establishment could benefit from a thorough cleaning. While not unsanitary, the bar area appeared disorganized, and glimpses into the kitchen revealed some disorder. Addressing these cleanliness and organization issues could significantly enhance the ambiance.Despite this initial impression, the owner and one other staff member were exceedingly pleasant. Our waiter demonstrated remarkable efficiency, managing a larger workload than one might expect while delivering exceptional customer service. The restaurant offers an enticing brunch menu with unlimited options and mimosas. We indulged in a red sangria and the "deceitful" cocktail.For $50 per person, guests can enjoy two brunch items and drinks. We opted to add oxtail and grits for an additional $10. Our selections included chicken and waffles, jerk steak and eggs, and ground provisions—all of which surpassed our expectations. The kitchen operated seamlessly, ensuring each dish was impeccably prepared. You will leave well fed !!!

I went here with my friend last night and the service was terrible. When the waitress was taking our order about two seconds later she forgot what drinks we ordered. If she wrote it down then she would’ve remembered. Our drinks took about 30 mins to come our table. Our food took almost 2 hours to get our table and my friend didn’t even get her appetizer that she ordered. Her mash potatoes were cold and we had to send it back. For $26 her salmon was a size that a 4 year old could eat. And for $30 oxtail, I literally got like 5 pieces. It also took us asking for the bill for them to make and bring out my friend’s second drink. I will never come back here again. And I’m confused on why there was a separate charge on the receipt for alcohol.
