I used Unique Eats' catering services for an event. The owner, Uniqua, was friendly and professional. The food was ready when promised and absolutely delicious--my guests were well pleased.

I recently placed a catering order at Unique Eats for my sister’s 21st Birthday Brunch, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the entire experience. From the start, the ordering process was a breeze, and their communication was outstanding. We paid in full, and the pickup was flawlessly organized, with the added convenience of them bringing the food out to my car.But what truly blew us away was the moment we got home and started setting up the food. The aroma alone was irresistible, and it set the stage for an exciting meal. When it came time to taste, we were not disappointed. The food was not just good; it was absolutely delicious! Every guest at the brunch was raving about it and kept coming back for more. Unique Eats truly made my sister’s 21st Birthday celebration memorable with their incredible catering. Highly recommended!

The owner greeted us and was very professional. I was able to ask about the origin of the restaurant. I also came in with someone who had eating restrictions and they accomodated her. I really appreciated that. Food was amazing. Will definitely be returning.Parking: You can park outside the mallWheelchair accessibility: You can access the store with a wheelchair. There is a small ramp before the store.

I was looking for some good soul food in Queens and this place had good ratings with overall great reviews so I decided to try them out. Turns out it's inside the Rochdale mall. The Google map directions didn't specify that. I've seen the restaurant but I never thought in a million years that it had great food.I ordered honey bbq salmon with broccoli and Mac and cheese. OMG! It was absolutely delicious. The broccoli was cooked perfectly. Tender but with just the right amount of crisp and flavor. The Mac and cheese was cheesy and flavorful just like real Southern cooking. The salmon was fresh, tender and the sauce was banging. The lady at the counter was so nice and she thanked me for coming there. I don't mind supporting a business that has good product and she has good food. I would have took a photo of my meal but my fiance and I ate the whole thing. I plan on patronizing this restaurant again

Ordered a variety of dishes from the Alfredo Pasta to the Seafood Loaded Fries and the Salmon (with Mac on the side). Every dish was extremely flavorful and had its own individual taste, had enough spice but not overbearingly, and wonderful portion sizes that could keep a family happy. Awesome hospitality and food alike, will be back again for sure!

Ordered an esco fish on Uber and asked for less bell peppers. I should’ve just shut up . Should’ve just got the fried fish because I get more brown stew gravy than the amount of garnish I got on this

This spot has a GREAT atmosphere and is classy and elegant, perfect for a family outing, date night, etc. The service is amazing and the staff is so friendly. It took a little while for us to get our food but the wait was worth it. The food is delicious, tasty and satisfying. 10/10. would absolutely come back.

Food is very good but no place to sit and eat. Seating is closed off which is an inconvenience but the food makes up for it

I'm giving at least 1 star for the food and the day-of servers, if i weren't for these 2 factors my rating would be a zero. I wanted to host a surprise 70th birthday dinner for my father, who frequents this restaurant. I wanted to pick another restaurant, but my sister convinced me that he would be more comfortable at The Door. On May 1st, I contacted the restaurant and spoke with Dajana. Initially, I asked for the smaller room. I told her I wanted the event to be held on Father's Day. (June 18), and she didn't express an issue. I paid the deposit via phone, as I live out of state and would not be able to come to the restaurant. By May 22nd, I realized there was a strong possibility that we would need the larger room. I called and spoke to Dajana, and she said she would have to ask her manager if I could have that room. She came back on the phone and said the manager said it was fine to use the bigger room. Between May 22nd and June 14th, I was in constant contact with Dajana, who answered all my questions. On June 14th, I sent over the selections for the prefix menu. I asked for a receipt confirmation. The next day, I was contacted by Jody. She confirmed the meals but told me I would not be able to access the room before 430. My reservation was for 5 and it was a surprise party. I needed more than 30 minutes to decorate the space as I would be the only person decorating, and the guest of honor was slated to arrive at 5. On June 17th at 9:49pm, the NIGHT BEFORE the birthday celebration, Dajana called me to tell me there was no guarantee of being able to access the space before my reservation time and that all my guest needed to be present at seating. How ridiculous is that notion. I'm utilizing a private space. Why would it matter if 5 people showed up or not? I was responsible for paying for 35 people, and that is what I was prepared to do. Now, I'm beginning to feel anxious. I have decorations that I wasn't sure I'd be able to set up, and now there was a possibility of the surprise being ruined. To make matters worse, the manager called back at 10:11 p.m., less than 20 hours before the dinner was scheduled to occur, to tell me she was canceling the entire reservation. I had never in my life experienced something like this. She said she apologized but, "Father's Day was going to be a mad house and she didn't know who authorized the use of the larger room". Typically I would have lost my cool but this was for my dad, I wouldn't be able to find another place to accommodate us and let the guest know the change/cancelation, in enough time so I pleaded with her. After 12 minutes, she agreed to let me have the event but told me that instead of 2.5 hours, I could only have the private room for 2 hours because she needed the space even though I was paying full price. The disappointment and frustration I felt were indescribable. Imagine wanting to honor your father on his milestone birthday and being told, the night before, that your reservation was being canceled. I barely slept that night even though I had a 4 hour drive ahead of me. I prayed all night long that things would go well because I didn't want to disappoint the man that literally does it all for his family. The next day I arrived at the restaurant and had to wait. 15 minutes after the reservation time had passed my sister asked why we weren't being seated. We were told it was because there were diners in our space whom they were waiting to leave. Why in the world would you seat someone there knowing you had a large party arriving for a 5pm reservation? Again, I remained calm and waited. Finally at 5:33 I was allowed to enter the room and put down a few decorations, which the manager Joan did assist me in doing. We hustled everyone in the room and I went to get my dad, who had been waiting in hiis car since 5pm. The service was a little slow which was to be expected because it was Father's Day, but the food was hot and delicious. If I was only judging this experience on the food and the s
