We were really disappointed with our order. The pizza with pesto and tomatoes had no flavor at all—the tomatoes were dry and made the whole pizza unpleasant. We also ordered pasta to go, but when we got home, we found it was undercooked and had barely any sauce. For the price, we expected much better quality and won’t be ordering again.

A very high quality Italian restaurant in Bayside. They have exceptional food and a welcoming atmosphere. When I was there, they had a live music performance featuring a very talented singer. All around 5/5 stars and a very good place to get dinner in Bayside.

I knew this place was going to be legit right when I walked in. The vibes were so high and the server who greeted me, Laura, has great, friendly energy. The place is beautiful, the smooth chill house music fits the vibe, and the food is incredible!!! We had the meatball appetizer, the Parpadelli Al Funghi, and the Brocoli Rab. Like WOW. My husband is Italian and he is very impressed. Oh, and you get free super yummy Foccasia with your dining experience. I will be returning and telling my friends about this place!

Came with a group and we all loved our food. Shared the tartufo pizza with the table and it was 👌 I also had the fettuccine alfredo with shrimp and it was excellent! Fresh and delicious! Our waitress was very sweet and attentive.
Great happy hour with $10 wines and some food specials at the bar. Friday nights they have live music which feels local and fun. We come for the amazing brick oven pizza (Neapolitan style). Great staff and service.

Never again, Especially for a special occasion. We came here to celebrate a birthday, expecting a nice evening with good food and a bit of festivity. While the food itself was actually quite good, everything else about the experience was a huge letdown—and the service completely ruined the night.
We brought our own birthday cake, and after dinner, we informed the staff that we were ready for it. They made us wait 30 minutes before even bringing it out. When they finally did, they sang happy birthday—and then immediately took the cake away before we could even cut it or serve it. What happened next was honestly baffling: another 20-minute wait before they brought it back, by which point the mood had totally died and our guests were visibly frustrated.
The staff were inattentive, slow, and seemed completely indifferent to the fact that this was meant to be a special occasion. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate something important, I would absolutely not recommend this restaurant. Good food can’t make up for bad service, and this experience left a very sour taste overall.

Had a wonderful experience here the brick oven pizza was nice and crispy, the steak was cooked to perfection and the bartender Rachael makes delicious drinks I recommend the Bourbon Bramble. I will be returning soon.

We have been to Valdari restaurant in the past and had a good experience; however, I was extremely disappointed with the service, or lack there of, that was provided by our server last night. We were a party of 6 people with 2 in our party experiencing Valdari for the first time. We got there at 8pm and the place was about 70% full, so not as crowded. It took the server about 10 to 15 minutes after being seated to ask if we would like to start off with a drink. Instead she asked if we were ready to order our meal and seemed preoccupied. It took another 15 minutes before she came back to ask for our food order. We ordered apps first and noticed when apps arrived that no one in our party had forks so the place settings weren't even set and we had to ask a manager to please bring forks because our server could not be found. We waited another 15 to 20 minutes for her to take our main course order and was hoping that she would ask if we would like another round of drinks, but she never did. Quite surprising since restaurants make most of their money from alcohol... again felt like we were being neglected. The food was good so at least that was consistent from the last time we were there. After we were done with our meal we again waited 15 minutes for the server to come around as we wanted to order a second round of drinks. She could not be found and we finally got fed up, flagged down another server and asked for the bill...We were all disappointed and server seemed indifferent to serving us. The slap in the face was the 20% tip they automatically put on the bill... she knew she fell way short of properly serving us and did not care one bit. I or the other people in my party will not be going back. There are many other restaurants in Bayside that provide good service and make you feel welcomed...
