Van leeuwen ice cream is so delicious. Perfectly creamy. And the flavors are perfectly balanced and always hits perfectly. Seasonal flavors are delicious and their staple pints are always great. Must try flavor is Marion berry cheesecake.
I’ve been in this shop on ditmars blvd. Saturday and Sunday to get a Carmel cone Sunday. They don’t have any Carmel or hot fudge or any of the syrup to make a Sunday. As much as they charge for their Sundays you think whoever does the ordering should have ordered the syrups. It’s very bad business.

Went there tonight around 8pm and ordered a strawberry milkshake with almond milk. I told both ladies that the milkshake taste bland and lacked flavor because it mostly taste like milk and the young lady replied to me stating when you add ice cream which is milk based with milk it’s going to taste like milk. At that point I became upset and just walked out as I felt like I was being brushed off after paying close to $12 for a milkshake. I would have rather the young lady make the drink over or provide other alternatives to make the drink more enjoyable rather than brush me off and continue with other customers. I will not be returning to this location. This was not my first time in life having a milkshake and I wish I had a more enjoyable experience tonight.
