Lovely quaint restaurant next to the train station. I was interested in a cecina plate, which was not on the menu, but the owner graciously cooked to order for me. The mole veracruzano was different, unique and strong in flavor; unlike the mole I grew up eating. The mole enchiladas had plenty of shredded chicken. Very pleased with the service too. Would recommend, stop by!
Great food, very authentic!!
Al pastor tacos were delicious, as well as the carnitas. juicy and tender, love the beef nachos does not get soggy if you don’t ear them right away. Great place.
Super tasty! Definitely recommend the enchiladas and quesadillas. They hand make the tortillas and the texture and flavor is delicious. Not a fancy place but amongst the Mexican food in Astoria.
