If you don’t like a ramen with an actual broth base, keep walking! But if you like quality ingredients and no-frills ramen, this is the ramen for you. Shio is straight broth and the Sho Yu is slightly a bolder version.

The Cha-Shu pork were excellent cuts, with the right mix of meat and fat, and they were braised to the perfect melt-in-your-mouth texture without being too soft.

All for $18. Yes please. There is clearly a focus on quality ingredients and precision preparation. The atmosphere felt very tidy and a step above casual, with light jazz music and airy decor. A great add to the neighborhood.

The fries were quite nice as well.

The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. They had an authentic interest in our dining experience. We’ll definitely be returning from time to time. Hopefully brunch is similarly impressive!

FWIW, we sat at the bar for a chill date night and enjoyed to intersecting with the bartender while she carefully crafted mixed drinks that each had a unique edge to them.

I came here for brunch on a Sunday morning, and my friend and I loved it. If you are also interested on coming on a weekend for brunch, I highly recommend coming 15-20 minutes before it opens to guarantee seating as soon as it opens (otherwise, you might be stuck with a 30 min-1 hour wait. The interior of the space is bright, floral, and very cutely decorated. Service here is pretty quick and they're kind.

They are a Japanese fusion menu, and everything looked so good. My friend and I opted for one of their matcha souffle pancakes (which they are known for) and their omurice. Both dishes were phenomenal. The souffle pancakes were so jiggly, soft, and the cake wasn't too sweet so it paired with the matcha creme well. The omurice had mushroom, bacon, and other toppings in the rice so it added so much depth to the dish (as opposed to just traditionally white rice). I highly recommend this dish. I would love to come back and try some of their other menu items

We read reviews before going and saw they were mixed, either really great or bad.

Visiting on a Sunday afternoon there were lots of empty tables which is to be expected. The staff weren’t rude but not welcoming either.

After ordering the food arrived quickly Chicken Kara-age wings with fried garlic chips were the stand out dish of the meal. Edamame were steamed perfectly.

Our entrees were really mediocre Hamburg steak, Katsu Don and omelette were all very heavily sauced. The sauces didn’t have much flavor but were all sugary sweet in different ways.

The AC was turned up to 11 and very noisy. I would assume, to cover the noisy of the blasting air the music was loud.

In all it wasn’t as good as we hoped, not sure why it’s listed in the Michelin guide. Won’t visit again or recommend to friends.

We came here for brunch and were lucky enough to grab a table before the long line formed behind us, it definitely gets busy fast. The soufflé pancakes and drinks were plated so beautifully, with gorgeous presentation that made everything feel extra special. Prices were on the higher side, but since I love the aesthetics of both the food and the café itself, I didn’t mind splurging. That said, while the portions looked decent at first, the pancakes (despite how pretty they were!) weren’t very filling and the drinks, though pretty, tasted just okay—definitely more style than substance. Still, if you’re going for the vibes and presentation, it’s worth a visit!

Super unprofessional and rude especially for first-time customers like us.
Walked-in on a Thursday afternoon with two of my friends and not only were we not greeted by the hostess but when we asked for a table for 3, she immediately waved her hands and said “we have no tables” and walked away without asking if we would like to wait or give us an estimate time. When we asked how long the wait is gonna be, she was pretty dismissive and said “i don’t know, also we just opened 20 minutes ago so..if you want to wait just wait on the side”. Not sure if I’d come back again. No waitlist system or walk-in treatment. The hostess was an asian lady with short permed dirty blonde hair.

I went for brunch with my partner and had a wonderful experience. Upon walking in, I noticed how the sunlight lit up the restaurant. It created such a warm and inviting atmosphere which highlighted the instagram worthy decor. I could tell that the owner put a lot of thought into the interior design with the color scheme.

The food was amazing! Not only was the presentation exceptional, it tasted just as good as it looked. I would highly recommend: matcha soufflé pancakes, omurice, and the omelette (with cheese and vegetables). For drinks definitely go for matcha latte, citrus blossom, and lychee blush. They were well balanced and not too sweet (which a lot of cafes seem to). Just take a look at my photos to see how beautiful they are.

The service was exceptional as the server was very attentive and catered to our needs. Please check out this restaurant whenever you’re in the mood for Japanese eats and flavorful drinks!

I tried the vegan ramen at vert frais. The ramen almost tasted french instead of Japanese. The broth is soy milk and potato based so it's very subtle. The dish was very light and tasted lightly seasoned.

Went on a Monday afternoon and was able to get a table without reservations. The wait staff was nice and accommodating. The omurice was delicious and the soufflé pancake was soft and fluffy. Rating it 1 star because I found a metal stapler in my ramen. The staff apologized and didn’t charge me for the ramen but it is such a dangerous thing to have in your food. Luckily I bought it before eating the rest of the soup. I would except for this price range that they would be more careful with food safety.

We enjoyed lunch. Everything was delicious. Drinks were great as well. Seating is bit tight, it was weird being on a date with the couple next to us!
