I did a catering order with Yumpling for a party and they were really amazing! Chris was incredible to work with and all the food was SO good. My guests kept asking where the dumplings were from. Cannot recommend this place enough!

We strolled in for a tumbling trio, Taiwan popcorn chicken, Lu ro fan, shoestring fries and pickled lotus root.
Upon delivery we are delighted with our order. Everyone was delighted. Atmosphere is low bc it is take out but clean and water ready.
With 2 kids 4 adults this was a nice stop on our afternoon pre-game adventure in Long Island City.

I would highly recommend the shoestring fries if you're a fan of thin, crispy fries. I liked the crispness of it and still had some potato on the inside. Wouldn't go during lunch time rush, unless you have at least 25 minutes to wait. I like to ensure premium crispiness, so I removed the chicken right after I got it to prevent sogginess. Lightly seasoned, which might be bland to some, but I would order again.

Tried “Yumpling trio” $19.75 to try all of the dumplings (chicken, pork and vegetable). Also got “Taiwanese popcorn chicken” $13.00 (for 8 pieces) and it was amazing, no sauce needed, juice and great flavor!
The place was quite busy, when we arrived, so dining in might be difficult; they have 7 tables and 6 of them were taken when I arrived.
Best Taiwanese this side of the river hands down! Very affordable and the service is very pleasant. The vibes match its Taiwanese authenticity 😁

Yumpling serves really authentic Taiwanese food and it's a gem in the LIC neighborhood, which we desperately need. Staff are friendly and courteous. They also make one the best Zha Jiang Mian. My to go place for dinner.
